Our verdict on Lidl Plus
Lidl Plus is Lidl’s free grocery rewards app for shoppers who want to access member offers and loyalty features while shopping in store. Available on Android and iOS, it brings personalized coupons, points, digital receipts, purchase summaries and weekly ads together in a mobile app. Shoppers scan the app at checkout to access eligible member offers and savings. Its focus is supporting Lidl trips rather than serving as a general grocery marketplace or an online ordering tool.
The loyalty features cover several parts of the shopping routine. Coupons are personalized based on shopping habits, while points earned on purchases can be redeemed for products or rewards. Digital receipts and purchase summaries provide a record of transactions, and weekly ads let shoppers browse current promotions. Games and surprise rewards, including Spin To Win and Mystery Boxes, add another route to offers. These features make the app most relevant to shoppers who regularly visit Lidl and are willing to scan it at checkout; their value depends on shopping at the retailer.
