Our verdict on Lazesoft Disk Image & Clone
Lazesoft Disk Image & Clone is Windows software for cloning complete disks or selected partitions, migrating Windows installations, and creating or restoring disk images. It is aimed at home users, businesses, server administrators, and technicians handling drive upgrades, backups, deployment, or maintenance. Cloning can copy used blocks or every sector, resize partitions during the process, and work with GPT or MBR layouts. Bootable WinPE recovery media supports offline cloning and recovery tasks.
The Home Edition is free for personal, non-commercial use and includes disk and partition cloning plus a bootable recovery CD or USB. The Professional Edition costs $39.99 one time and adds a business license while retaining cloning and bootable recovery media. Server Edition costs $79.49 one time and adds Windows Server support. Unlimited Edition costs $199.69 one time and combines unlimited business licensing with Windows Server support, disk and partition cloning. These tiers make the product suitable for both personal systems and business environments with different licensing needs.
Its broader feature set extends beyond cloning. Lazesoft supports SATA, NVMe, SSD, RAID, and USB drives, along with password protection, compression, encryption, and file exclusion. Backup scheduling can run daily, weekly, at startup, or on demand, with full, incremental, or differential backup types. The main boundary is platform scope: it is Windows-focused, and scheduled operations are described for backups rather than clone jobs. Choose it for Windows disk migration, recovery media, and scheduled backup coverage; consider another category option if you need support beyond Windows or specifically require scheduled cloning.
