Our verdict on IUCLID
IUCLID is software for recording, storing, maintaining and exchanging data on chemical substances, including information about their intrinsic and hazardous properties. Developed by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), it supports preparation of regulatory information in IUCLID format, including REACH dossier work. It is suited to teams preparing chemical-substance regulatory dossiers, from smaller organisations to enterprise teams; it is not aimed at users whose primary need is process simulation.
The software is free and can be used through desktop and server installations or ECHA Cloud Services. Desktop and server versions support offline work or use within an organisation’s environment, while IUCLID Cloud supports online dossier preparation and validation.
