Our verdict on IQ Storage Secure FTP Cloud Services
IQ Storage Secure FTP Cloud Services is a cloud-hosted file storage and transfer service for organizations that need SFTP or FTPS access, account controls, and backup choices. Browser access, user and sub-account management, folder sharing, and desktop or server syncing cover common file operations. Its published plans include small, mid-market, and enterprise company-size fit, though the monthly entry price makes it a more considered purchase than a low-cost transfer option.
Pricing starts with Standard at $165 per month for 100 GB of storage and unlimited transfers. Business costs $275 monthly and includes 250 GB, unlimited transfers, and 12-month log retention, with audit evidence available on request. Compliance is $495 monthly for 500 GB, unlimited transfers, Active Directory integration, and quarterly access reviews. Enterprise is custom-priced with configurable storage and integrations. There is a 7-day free trial, and a 15-day refund period. The plans are month-to-month; advance-payment discounts are also advertised. Backup modes vary by plan, with nightly, snapshot, or continuous options.
The service suits teams that value file activity and access logs, email alerts, and rules to archive files after a specified period. IQ Storage lists SOC 2, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and HIPAA compliance, and offers email and phone support; support is not 24/7. Active Directory is the named integration, so organizations seeking a broad integration ecosystem may find the fit narrower. Choose it when backup flexibility and compliance-oriented controls justify the cost; consider alternatives if low monthly pricing or extensive integrations matter more.
