Our verdict on Hypori Mobile
Hypori Mobile gives employees, contractors, and other users access to enterprise apps and workflows through a remote virtual workspace on personal iOS and Android devices. The device displays encrypted screen updates and relays touch and telemetry input, while work data remains in the workspace rather than on the physical device. It is aimed at organizations that want BYOD access without traditional device enrollment or continuous device management, including government and regulated-industry teams.
Its defining choice is to protect work data by keeping it out of the personal device’s storage. Administrators use Hypori Console to manage users and virtual devices, can provide access to multiple virtual workspaces from one device, and can lock access to the Hypori app or disable workspace access. Credential-based multi-factor authentication and root and jailbreak detection add access controls; the latter can block a connection. QR-code or one-time-password setup connects the app to a cloud workspace. This model suits teams prioritizing separation of work and personal data over direct device administration.
That distinction also marks the product’s limits for BYOD management. Hypori Mobile does not provide work profiles, app management, or selective wipe, so organizations seeking those controls should consider a traditional MDM or MAM approach instead.
