The service runs through web and API access, and its managed deployment model keeps the database within Huawei Cloud’s platform and operational environment.

Pricing is available through two billing models. Pay-per-use bills compute resources and storage for actual usage, with pricing listed per hour and calculated down to the second. Yearly/Monthly provides prepaid subscription billing, with settlement determined by the subscription period. GeminiDB Cassandra API has no free plan. Its ecosystem fit centers on the Cassandra ecosystem, Huawei Cloud APIs and SDKs, and DynamoDB data migration.
