HostPanel Email Hosting provides custom-domain mailboxes from a UK London datacentre. It is aimed at small businesses that need affordable hosted email with familiar access options rather than a broader collaboration suite. Mailboxes support IMAP, POP and browser webmail, while spam and virus filtering, quarantine, unlimited aliases, forwarding rules and catch-all addresses cover core business-mail requirements. Assisted IMAP migration is also available for organisations moving existing mailboxes.
The pricing structure is straightforward. Mailboxes are included with HostPanel web hosting plans under the With Web Hosting option, which includes domain mailboxes, IMAP, POP, webmail, filtering, unlimited aliases, SPF, DKIM and DMARC setup, plus UK mailbox storage. The standalone Standard Mailbox costs £2 per mailbox per month and provides 10GB per mailbox, with the same core access, filtering and email-authentication features. The Large Mailbox costs £4 per mailbox per month and adds 50GB storage, automatic archiving and a searchable archive. The published plans show monthly billing, and renewal equals the introductory price.
Platform fit is strongest for teams already using desktop clients such as Outlook, Apple Mail or Thunderbird. Mobile access is handled through standard third-party email clients, while the service remains web-focused and does not include a calendar. UK storage and email-authentication setup may suit businesses prioritising domain control and regional mailbox hosting. Choose HostPanel for inexpensive, conventional email hosting, particularly when web hosting is already part of the requirement. Choose an alternative when a built-in calendar, native mobile experience or wider collaboration features are central to the workflow.
