Our verdict on Good Sign

Good Sign brings quote-to-cash and revenue-management workflows together for B2B subscription, managed-service and other recurring-revenue businesses. Its scope covers custom-deal quoting, product catalogs, contracts, subscriptions, billing, invoicing, revenue recognition, accounting exports and reporting. That breadth makes it a fit for mid-market and enterprise teams aiming to coordinate revenue operations across sales, finance and service delivery, rather than for businesses looking for a narrowly focused invoicing product.

The platform supports recurring, one-time, pay-per-use and hybrid billing, with usage-data ingestion, mediation and rating for more involved pricing models. Invoicing includes scheduling and PDF or e-invoice delivery, while revenue recognition and accounting-entry exports connect billing activity to finance workflows. Reporting can use standard or custom reports and a reporting API. This combination is relevant when pricing varies by usage or contract terms; teams with simple, fixed subscriptions may not need its broader quote-to-revenue coverage.

Good Sign is cloud-based, available on web and through an API, and lists integrations with more than 300 systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, ServiceNow, SAP, Stripe and NetSuite. Published tiers show Essentials with recurring revenue and simple pay-per-use plans, standard onboarding and basic support; Advanced adds complex usage pricing, multiple data streams and custom integrations; Enterprise adds complex usage-data mediation, custom contracts, bespoke onboarding, unlimited sales companies, and cost and transfer pricing. According to the vendor's pricing page, purchasing is through sales and public prices are not provided. Teams should choose it when broad workflow coverage and system connections matter more than upfront price comparison; buyers prioritizing transparent pricing or a smaller feature footprint should consider alternatives.
