Our verdict on Gathered Here
Gathered Here is an Australian end-of-life planning website centered on online will creation. Its will service, now presented through EveryWill, is aimed at individuals who want to create a straightforward will without a paid subscription. Users can complete the Online Will plan on the web, download and print a personalised document, and revise the will for free. The workflow supports executor and beneficiary appointments, guardianship provisions for children and pets, specific gifts, personal messages, and funeral wishes.
Pricing is simple: the Online Will plan is free. Its main value is breadth within a basic will workflow rather than a tiered feature set. The plan combines document creation and printing with ongoing free updates, while also covering practical decisions that are easy to overlook, such as appointing guardians and recording funeral instructions. Gathered Here also lists funeral director comparison and fixed-fee probate assistance among its features, extending the surrounding service beyond the document itself.
The main trade-off is scope. Gathered Here is focused on wills and beneficiary planning, with no verified powers of attorney, trusts, storage, or state coverage in its listed estate-planning scope. That makes it a sensible choice for an Australian individual seeking a free, printable will with beneficiary, executor, guardianship, gift, and funeral-wishes provisions. People looking for a broader estate-planning workflow should choose a service that also addresses those additional planning areas. The product is most suitable when a clear will is the immediate priority and a paid subscription is not required.
