Fud AI is a free, open-source calorie and nutrition tracker for Android and iOS. It suits people who want several ways to record meals, including photos, barcodes, voice, text, saved meals, and manual entry. It tracks calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, and other nutrients, alongside weight, body fat, workouts, and optional fasting. Its emphasis is flexible food logging rather than a single input method.
Photo logging includes multi-photo meal analysis, and users can review and edit estimated foods and serving sizes before saving. Packaged-food barcode scans use Open Food Facts lookup. AI analysis requires a provider key supplied by the user, and any provider charges are separate. Barcode lookup and manual logging can be used without that key, so the app remains useful for people who prefer not to configure AI access. Food records are stored locally; Android users can optionally sync through Health Connect, and Android Glance widgets are included.
