Our verdict on Forgetic
Forgetic is an Android reminder app for people whose routines start at different times from day to day. Set a reminder to recur by interval, count, or end time, then have it scheduled relative to when you start your day. It is designed for individual routines rather than shared team workflows, and the vendor describes it as free and in closed beta. The app’s focus is not simply recording a task; it aims to keep routine prompts aligned with the user's day until they are marked done.
Its scheduling behavior is the clearest distinction. When a reminder is snoozed, Forgetic reschedules the day’s remaining reminders, and its reminder settings include quiet periods and weekend-aware behavior. Escalating reminders continue until marked done, while a daily routine reset gives recurring tasks a fresh start. These options may suit someone who wants nudges to adapt around their routine rather than remain fixed at a clock time. Buyers looking for calendar connections or a broader productivity ecosystem should compare alternatives: Forgetic has no listed integrations.
Privacy and platform fit are also central to the choice. According to the vendor, data stays on the device and the app makes no network requests; offline use follows from that stated design. Forgetic is Android-only in its current description, with iOS forthcoming, so it is not a fit for someone who needs cross-platform access. The published description says the app is in closed beta, which may matter to users seeking a generally available product. Choose Forgetic for private, personal routine reminders on Android; look elsewhere for integrations, team use, or an app already available on iOS.
