Our verdict on Flux Payments

Flux Payments is a payment-processing platform for businesses, including gyms and other membership organizations. It provides hosted payment fields, recurring billing, customer profiles, dashboards, reporting, and QuickBooks synchronization. Developers can connect payment workflows through its REST API, SDKs, and webhooks, while operators can support card, ACH bank-transfer, and stablecoin payments. That makes Flux a fit for gyms building or extending their own membership, checkout, or billing experience rather than teams seeking an all-in-one gym management system.

The published plans use transaction-based pricing. Consumer Pass-Through adds the processing fee to the customer's checkout total where local surcharging rules allow, and includes cards, ACH, stablecoins, full platform access, real-time settlement, and AI-powered business insights. Flat Rate lists pricing of 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction and includes the same payment methods, platform access, settlement, and insights. Both plans align with a payment infrastructure model, while 16 downloadable reports, saved payment methods, transaction history, refunds, disputes, and settlement notifications extend the operational toolkit. QuickBooks, WooCommerce, and Set Forth provide the listed integration options.

Flux's strongest fit is a technically capable gym that needs programmable recurring payments, failed-payment recovery, and event-driven integrations. Automatic retries and dunning emails can support membership payment recovery, while hosted fields and fraud detection address payment handling and transaction screening. Its narrow focus is also the main limitation: the product details describe payment processing, not class scheduling, member communications, staff management, or broader gym operations. Choose Flux when payment infrastructure is the priority; choose a dedicated gym membership system when billing must sit inside a wider facility-management workflow.
