Our verdict on Eventcloud
Eventcloud is a web and self-hosted event registration and ticketing platform for conferences, trade shows, exhibitions, festivals, summits, galas and corporate events. It combines branded event pages, paid or free tickets, custom registration forms, session-based tickets, payment collection, check-in, badge printing, reporting and exports. Its pricing is based on organiser users rather than ticket or registration volume, making it suited to teams that need structured event operations across different event types.
The Team plan costs $125 per user per month or $1250 per user per year, with unlimited events, tickets and registrations. It includes custom registration forms and branding, QR check-in, printable badges, Stripe payments, promo codes and waiting lists. Eventcloud also offers a free plan for approved registered charities, state or government schools, and religious non-profits, limited to three users. An unlimited free trial supports event setup, but an active subscription is required to publish and sell tickets. The Charities & Schools plan includes unlimited events, tickets and registrations, paid and free events, and Stripe payments.
Operationally, Eventcloud covers the core workflow from registration through attendance reporting. Organisers can create per-ticket forms, manage session capacity limits, collect payments with multi-currency support, check attendees in from any phone or tablet browser, print badges on demand or in advance, and export attendee and transaction data to CSV or Excel. Enterprise adds white-labeling, on-premises or self-hosted deployment, single sign-on, SLA guarantees and a dedicated account manager. Teams wanting a focused registration system with self-hosting and detailed event controls should consider it; organisations needing a broader integration ecosystem may prefer an alternative.
