Our verdict on EdbMails EDB Recovery
EdbMails EDB Recovery is Windows software for recovering corrupted, damaged, dismounted, offline, and deleted Microsoft Exchange EDB data. It supports EDB, PRIV.EDB, PUB.EDB, and STM files from Exchange Server 2003 through 2019. Exchange administrators, IT service providers, and organizations handling mailbox recovery can use it to select mailboxes, folders, and items before exporting or migrating them. Recovered content can include email, attachments, contacts, calendars, tasks, notes, journals, public folders, and deleted mailbox items.
Pricing is structured across three paid editions. Personal Edition costs $399 one time and covers EDB to PST conversion. Corporate Premium costs $499 one time and adds EDB migration to Office 365 and live Exchange. Technical Edition costs $799 one time and includes those migration paths, unlimited computer installation, and multiple location installation. The published trial is limited to exporting 30 items per folder, while the paid plans provide the broader recovery and export capabilities. Buyers should match the edition to their destination and installation requirements rather than choosing solely by recovery scope.
The product’s standout area is its combination of recovery controls and export handling. It offers mailbox previews before export, filters for date, sender, recipient, CC, and BCC, batch recovery, folder-hierarchy preservation, embedded EML and journal export, and the ability to split large mailbox exports across multiple PST files. It also connects directly with Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Exchange Server for migration workflows. EdbMails EDB Recovery suits Windows-based Exchange recovery and migration projects that need granular selection or large exports. Organizations needing OST or MBOX recovery, or teams working outside Windows, should choose a different tool.
