Our verdict on EasyChair
EasyChair is a web-based conference management system for chairs, program committees, reviewers, authors, and organizers. It covers the academic event workflow from call-for-papers publishing and abstract or paper submission through reviewer assignment, peer review, discussion, rebuttals, scheduling, registration, and proceedings preparation. Its free plan makes it a practical fit for small events, while established conferences can add capacity and specialized modules through paid tiers.
Pricing is usage-based rather than annual. The Free plan includes submissions and reviewing, double- and triple-blind reviewing, secure hosting, and data backup and replication, with category specifications of up to 20 submissions and 200 reviewers. Professional costs $4 per submission and adds Smart Program, multi-track support, Excel and CSV export, plus program generation and publishing. Executive costs $6.20 per submission and adds helpdesk and technical support, Proceedings, analytics, rebuttals, and external-service integrations.
