Our verdict on DKReminder

DKReminder is an Android app for organizing everyday tasks, routines, meetings, and deadlines through one-time and recurring reminders. It suits people who want control over when reminders run and how they notify, including solo users and small teams. Ready-made options provide a starting point, while a detailed editor covers active hours, notifications, sounds, vibration, and snooze. Basic reminder functions work locally without an account or subscription, so the core use does not depend on a paid plan.

Its scheduling and review tools are the main draw. Recurrence can use fixed intervals or calendar-based rules, and the calendar shows upcoming reminders alongside past occurrences. Checklists can be added to reminders, while location triggers cover arrival, staying, and departure. Data export and import offer a way to move reminder information. The app is Android-only and does not provide calendar sync, so it is a better fit for people who want reminders managed within the app than for those seeking a cross-platform calendar workflow.

DKReminder is freemium, with a free plan and monthly and annual DKReminder Pro subscriptions. The published description says Pro adds guided creation, advanced recurrence controls, and meeting and deadline scenarios; subscription prices are localized and displayed in Google Play. Pro access is available for 30 days after first launch without a payment method and does not automatically start a subscription; the vendor says this is not a Google Play free trial. Optional Exchange can send reminder copies to approved recipients. Choose DKReminder for locally working Android reminders with configurable schedules and location alerts; look elsewhere if calendar sync or use beyond Android is essential.
