Day Off is leave-management software for teams and HR administrators. Employees can submit time-off requests, check balances and view team calendars, while managers review requests and configure approval workflows. Administrators can define leave types, leave policies, accrual and carryover rules, work schedules, blackout dates and reports. Access is available through the web, iOS and Android apps, with an API for connected workflows.
The free plan is a practical entry point for smaller teams: it is free forever for up to 10 users and includes calendar views, customizable leave types, one-step approval and management reports. The Pro plan costs $2 per seat per month and adds unlimited employees, advanced leave type settings, advanced work schedules and bulk actions. The Pro + Time Tracker plan costs $3 per seat per month and includes Pro features, task tracking, clock-in and clock-out, projects, tasks, clients and detailed and summary reports. The published plans make the paid path clear for teams that need broader administration or time tracking.
Day Off also fits teams that want leave data connected to existing work tools. Integrations include Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace and REST API connections. Core capabilities cover multiple approvers, employee self-service balances, request history, holiday and team leave calendars, leave reports and Excel exports. Teams should choose it when a focused leave system, mobile access and a free starting tier matter most. Organizations seeking time tracking must select the additional paid tier, while teams that need only basic leave administration may find the free plan sufficient.
