Cvent is an event and hospitality technology platform for event professionals, marketers, and hospitality teams. It supports in-person, virtual, and hybrid events through branded registration websites, configurable forms and agendas, email campaigns, payment collection, onsite check-in, mobile attendee engagement, exhibitor lead capture, reporting, and CRM data synchronization. It is best suited to organizations coordinating complex event programs across planning, delivery, and post-event analysis rather than teams seeking a narrow registration tool.

The published plans show two primary Event Management tiers. Professional includes 15 user logins, event reporting and insights, exhibitor management, session management, speaker management, and venue sourcing. Enterprise includes all Professional features and adds Registration, Attendee Hub, and OnArrival licenses, API access, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, and budget and resource management. The primary plans require a quote, and there is no free plan. That structure is more suitable for organizations evaluating a broader operational platform than for buyers who need a simple, self-serve event tool with transparent pricing.

Cvent’s strongest differentiator is breadth across the event lifecycle. Attendee-facing tools include agendas, networking, chat, Q&A, polling, and gamification, while organizers can manage payments, badging, attendance, engagement, registration, and event performance reporting. Integrations with Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot, Zoom, Webex, and Microsoft Teams support marketing, CRM, and virtual delivery workflows, while API access is available on Enterprise. Choose Cvent when integrations, onsite operations, exhibitor workflows, and hybrid delivery matter together. Consider a narrower alternative if your events do not need this combination of planning, engagement, and operational features.
