Clear Estimates is cloud-based software for residential remodelers, contractors, and handymen who need structured estimating and invoicing. Its core workflow combines reusable project templates, regional labor and material pricing, customizable parts and proposal text, change-order management, and professional proposals that can be emailed or exported as PDFs. The product supports work on web, Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices, with an AI Scope Assistant for preliminary estimates.
Pricing is organized into Standard, Pro, and Franchise plans. Standard costs $79 per month when billed monthly or $59 per month when billed annually, with unlimited estimates and customers, a 13,000+ line-item database, 200+ preloaded templates, payable invoices, quarterly labor and material rate updates, and no contract. Pro costs $119 per month monthly or $99 per month annually and adds Buildertrend, Zapier CRM integrations, custom filtering and reports, and ATTOM property data. Franchise costs $249 per month monthly or $199 per month annually and adds custom branding, website hosting, custom feature development, and customized employee training. A 30-day free trial is available.
Clear Estimates is strongest when estimating is the main operational need rather than one part of a broader field-service system. It covers payment collection through credit card or ACH integrations with Clearent and connects with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Buildertrend, Zapier, and ATTOM. Those connections can extend the workflow into accounting, CRM, project data, and property information. However, the product does not provide scheduling, project-management functionality, dispatch, or lead capture.
