Our verdict on CareStack
CareStack is cloud-based dental practice management software for single practices, multi-location groups, dental startups, specialists and DSOs. Its scheduling scope covers multi-specialty and multi-location calendars, online patient booking, appointment requests, automated reminders and patient notifications. The platform also connects scheduling with digital intake, consent and registration forms, patient portals, clinical charting, treatment planning, insurance workflows, payments, communications and analytics. Patients can schedule or request appointments, complete forms, make payments and receive notifications through the portal, while staff can access schedules, patient records, prescriptions and communications through iOS and Android apps.
Pricing reflects that broad scope. The Essentials plan starts at $829 per month and includes multi-specialty scheduling, online appointments, a digital patient portal and forms, insurance claims management, emails, MMS and bulk texting, charting and treatment planning. The Intelligence plan starts at $1,299 per month and adds AI-powered clinical notes, voice periodontal charting, X-rays and clinical diagnosis.
