BlueTally is a cloud-based IT asset management platform for teams that need one place to track hardware, software licenses, warranties, assignments, audits, maintenance, inventory levels, and lifecycle records. It is particularly well suited to small teams seeking self-service asset tracking, with employee and manager views, onboarding and offboarding workflows, barcode-based tagging, reporting, and license seat assignments. The free plan supports up to 50 assets, while the 14-day free trial provides another way to evaluate the service.
Pricing is structured around three monthly plans. Core costs $232 per month and supports up to 250 assets, unlimited users, MDM device synchronization, SCIM employee synchronization, warranty synchronization, and Teams and Slack notifications. Business costs $348 per month and adds unlimited assets, single sign-on, REST API access, MCP-based AI assistant integration, Jira integration, and custom permission levels. Corporate costs $599 per month and adds internal multi-tenancy, an employee portal, employee self-audits, webhooks, and an annual invoice payment option. The plan structure makes Core the practical entry point for smaller inventories, while larger or more integrated environments have a clear upgrade path.
Its main strength is breadth across the asset lifecycle rather than a narrow focus on inventory alone. BlueTally combines license tracking, low-stock notifications, warranty and end-of-life records, audit workflows, scheduled reporting, Excel export, barcode scanning, and employee processes. Integrations include Microsoft Intune, Jamf, Iru, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Okta, Microsoft Teams, Slack, and Jira. Teams that need API or webhook connectivity should assess the Business or Corporate plans, while organizations needing a built-in employee portal should choose Corporate. BlueTally is a strong fit for teams that value lifecycle coverage and self-service; buyers seeking the lowest-cost paid deployment may prefer to remain within the free asset limit or consider an alternative.
