Our verdict on Avaza

Avaza is a cloud-based professional services automation platform for businesses and professional teams. It brings project and task management together with resource scheduling, team availability, time and expense tracking, estimates, invoicing, recurring invoicing, reporting and project profitability analysis. Teams can work in list, board, Gantt and calendar layouts, while customers and external contacts can receive limited project access. Web, Android and iOS apps support teams that need project and billing work in one product.

Pricing is structured around four monthly plans. Free includes unlimited project collaborators, one timesheet/expense user, one admin/finance user, one resource scheduling user, chat access for five team members and five active projects. Startup is $11.95 per month and adds two timesheet/expense users, 20 active projects, 50 invoices and bills per month, 10 GB of storage and unlimited customers. Basic costs $23.95 per month and includes five timesheet/expense users, two admin/finance users, 50 active projects, 100 invoices and bills per month and 20 GB of storage. Business costs $47.95 per month and includes unlimited active projects and invoices and bills, alongside higher role limits and 30 GB of storage.

The strongest fit is a small service team that needs to connect delivery work with billable time, expenses, estimates and invoices. Resource scheduling, recurring tasks, custom statuses, task workflows, discussions, email-enabled collaboration and file attachments add useful operating depth. Integrations include Xero, QuickBooks, Stripe, Google Workspace, Trello, Basecamp, Zendesk, GitHub, Google Drive and Dropbox, among others, helping it fit accounting, productivity and project workflows. Teams seeking only lightweight task tracking may find the wider feature set unnecessary, while organizations needing more licensed roles, projects or billing capacity should compare the paid tiers against their operating scale.
