Appligent Redax is a Windows desktop plug-in for Adobe Acrobat that permanently removes sensitive text, images, graphics, and full pages from PDF documents. It is aimed at government agencies, law firms, corporations, and health organizations handling classified, sensitive, or private information. The workflow covers both manual markup and repeatable discovery methods, including predefined patterns, custom regular expressions, word and phrase lists, and templates for recurring layouts.
