ApplicantStack review
A practical web-based ATS for small teams managing hiring from posting through onboarding.

ApplicantStack is a web-based applicant tracking and onboarding platform for small and midsize businesses, recruiters, and hiring teams. It covers the hiring process from job creation and distribution through candidate screening, pipeline management, interviews, communications, and onboarding. Branded careers pages, online applications, knockout questionnaires, candidate scoring, interview scorecards, and applicant self-scheduling give smaller teams a structured workflow without requiring separate tools for every stage.
Its ecosystem fit is practical for common hiring operations. ApplicantStack integrates with Google Calendar and Office 365, supports posting to major and niche job boards, and connects with HR applications, assessments, background checks, and virtual interview tools. Available APIs and integrations extend those connections. Automated workflows, stage-triggered communications, email templates, notifications, and two-way texting are useful for keeping candidates informed while reducing repetitive coordination. The product is accessed through the web rather than a native desktop or mobile platform.
Plan selection determines how much hiring volume the system can handle. Starter includes one active job, one admin seat, and five hiring manager seats; Growth raises the limit to three active jobs with the same listed seats. Recruit provides unlimited active jobs and allows additional admin and hiring manager seats, while Bundle adds onboarding, HR workflows, checklists, new-hire forms, e-signatures, and a new-hire portal. A 14-day free trial is available. ApplicantStack suits small teams that want hiring and onboarding in one workflow, but organizations needing deeper AI or resume-parsing capabilities, broader platform coverage, or more active jobs on an entry tier should consider alternatives.
