Our verdict on AMP
AMP is a self-hosted web control panel from CubeCoders for installing, provisioning, configuring, monitoring, and operating game servers. It runs on Windows and Linux, with web, API, iOS, and Android access listed among its supported platforms. The product is aimed at individual administrators, larger server networks, and commercial game-server resellers, with dedicated and generic modules covering a broad range of named games and game-server applications.
Its main strength is breadth. Administrators can create and deploy instances, generate configuration files and command-line arguments, install mods and plugins through Modrinth, CurseForge, Hangar, and Steam Workshop, and manage scheduled tasks and automatic backups. File management, editing, SFTP access, role-based permissions, webhooks, optional Docker-based instances, analytics, geographic filtering, and OIDC/LDAP single sign-on extend it beyond basic server launching. Discord, WHMCS, WemX, and OIDC providers are also listed integrations, making AMP a practical fit for deployments that need operational controls or connected services.
The editions scale by administrative scope. Starter Edition includes 5 app instances, 3 panel users, single-system management, and community support. Professional Edition adds 15 app instances, unlimited panel users, multiple server management, and webhook integrations. Advanced Edition raises the limit to 50 app instances and adds in-game analytics, geo-filtering, custom branding, OIDC SSO, instance deployment templates, and priority support access. Enterprise adds commercial usage, a flexible instance limit, an Automated Deployment API, WHMCS/WemX billing integration, and centralised instance overlays. Starter, Professional, and Advanced are lifetime licences, while Enterprise is a monthly subscription. AMP suits operators who need broad coverage and layered administration; teams wanting a free option or simpler, narrower tooling should look elsewhere.
