Our verdict on Amego

Amego is an event attendee experience platform for enterprise conferences, trade shows, corporate events, festivals, and other large-scale programs. It combines a branded mobile app with a web-based CMS, agenda and content tools, attendee profiles, messaging, meeting scheduling, push notifications, maps, wayfinding, polls, surveys, Q&A, gamification, lead capture, and analytics. The documented event capacity is 1,000, making Amego a fit for organized programs that need more than a basic agenda app.

Pricing is straightforward for Essential: $5,000 per year with annual billing. That plan includes app-wide branding, an advanced session library, personalized agendas, speakers and articles, push notifications, polls, surveys, and Q&A. Enterprise includes everything in Essential plus a branded container app, custom fonts, gamification, and language localization. Sidekick adds an AI feed, predictive agenda building, personalized discovery, wayfinding, networking recommendations, meeting recommendations, and activation recommendations within the Amego app. There is no free plan.

Amego’s strongest distinction is the combination of location-aware event navigation and engagement features. Interactive maps, multi-floor wayfinding, AI matchmaking, and personalized recommendations sit alongside messaging, meeting scheduling, challenges, points, rewards, and live feedback tools. The platform supports web, iOS, and Android, with integrations including Cvent, Swoogo, CrowdConnected, ExpoFP, MapsPeople, Aruba Meridian, Braindate, Wicket, Voxo, and Google Cloud. Choose Amego when branded navigation, attendee interaction, and event-program coordination justify an annual starting price of $5,000. Smaller events or teams seeking a free or simpler app should look elsewhere.
