Schools and educational institutions can use Alumnly to manage alumni directories, self-updating profiles, events, newsletters, community conversations, fundraising, analytics, mobile apps, and custom pages in one cloud-based platform. Its web, iOS, Android, and API coverage suits growing programs that want a branded alumni experience across multiple channels. The feature set also supports school communities, mentoring hubs through custom pages, data exports, and integrations with school information systems.

Pricing is structured across four annual-billing tiers. Starter costs $199 per month and includes a directory, photos, news, alumni stories, alumni posts, and a landing page builder. Lite costs $349 per month and adds events, jobs, chat groups, and included newsletter volume. Growth costs $599 per month and adds magazines and yearbooks, fundraising, and a shop. Pro costs $949 per month and adds a business directory and custom pages. A 30-day free trial is available, but there is no free plan. The tier structure makes events, community conversations, fundraising, and advanced page options available progressively rather than in the entry plan.

Alumnly’s strongest fit is for organizations that need more than contact management: event registration and ticketing with Stripe payments, fundraising campaigns with donor lists and receipts, AI-moderated chat groups, analytics, engagement scores, and AI recommendations are all part of the platform’s scope. Integrations include Stripe, LinkedIn, Facebook, Google, school information systems, CSV, and API access. Programs specifically seeking an operational mentoring feature should note that mentoring is in development, so Alumnly is better suited today to directory, communications, events, fundraising, and community management than to a ready-made mentoring workflow.

    • AI moderation, engagement analytics, and automated snapshot emails
  • Where it doesn't

    • Plans use annual billing
    • Mentoring is still in development
