Our verdict on Akko Cloud Driver
Akko Cloud Driver is configuration software for supported Akko mechanical, magnetic-switch and gaming keyboards and mice. It is intended for owners who want to remap keys, create custom modes, assign multi-step macros, configure lighting and manage device-specific performance settings. The software supports web, Windows and macOS access, with compatibility limited to specified models rather than a universal peripheral-management utility. Its fit spans solo users through enterprise teams, although the main value is personal or small-scale device customization.
The feature set is broad for a free tool. Keyboard options include key remapping, custom key modes, RGB lighting, audio-visualizer effects and profile or device-layer switching. Compatible magnetic keyboards can expose actuation-distance and rapid-trigger controls, while supported mice provide DPI and other pointer parameters. Polling-rate settings and online firmware updates are also available for compatible devices. These controls make the product suitable for users who need more than lighting configuration, particularly those tuning magnetic-switch keyboards or switching between supported profiles.
