Our verdict on Acvile Cloud

Acvile Cloud is a public cloud infrastructure platform built on OpenStack and Kubernetes. It is aimed at developers and teams that need low-cost compute alongside storage, networking, and infrastructure-as-code capabilities. The platform supports shared and dedicated vCPU instances, custom operating-system image uploads, S3-compatible object storage, Ceph-backed block storage, and Kubernetes as a service. Its web and API access also suit teams that prefer programmatic cloud management.

Pricing is structured around resource-based instance plans rather than conventional named subscription tiers. The published plans start with smi.1c-2g at $4 per instance per month for 1 vCPU, 2 GB ECC RAM, and 20 GB NVMe HA storage. Other shared options include smi.2c-4g at $6, smi.4c-8g at $8, sma.1c-3g at $5, sma.2c-6g at $7, and sma.4c-12g at $10 per instance per month. Dedicated vCPU plans include gp1.4c-16g at $15 and gp1.6c-24g at $25 per instance per month. A free plan is also available, while the published pricing uses monthly billing for these instances.

Acvile Cloud’s main strength is the breadth of infrastructure components around its low entry price. Software-defined networking covers private networks, routers, floating IPs, load balancers, and VPN gateways, while storage includes object storage plus block storage with NVMe and HDD options. OpenStack APIs, Terraform, S3-compatible integrations and SDKs, and a Kubernetes CSI driver support established infrastructure workflows. Choose Acvile Cloud if a free plan, low-cost instances, and OpenStack-compatible tooling are priorities. Consider an alternative if you want conventional subscription tiers or a more narrowly managed hosting experience.
