SEGA lists Persona 4 Revival for Xbox Series X|S, Windows, Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation 5, Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2. The announced dates differ: February 18, 2027 for Xbox Series X|S, Windows, Game Pass, PS5, and Steam, and May 20, 2027 for Switch 2, according to SEGA’s Japanese product listing. Boxed editions are planned for PS5 and Switch 2; technical performance comparisons are not yet established.

The February dates come from SEGA’s English release announcement; the Switch 2 date and planned boxed editions are in SEGA Japan’s product information. Check the current local store listing closer to launch for regional availability, retail stock, and any date changes.

Which platform should you choose?
If you already own a supported system
Choosing the platform you already use is the simplest decision: SEGA has not published verified comparisons of frame rate, loading, image quality, or stability across versions. No evidence currently supports a claim that one platform runs or looks better.
If you want a boxed copy
PS5 and Switch 2 are the two platforms for which SEGA says boxed editions are planned. This confirms plans, not local stock or final retailer availability. The announced Switch 2 version also has a later release date.

If you play on PC
SEGA lists both Windows and Steam. Treat them as distinct availability options rather than assuming that the announcement describes a single storefront. System requirements and specific PC feature support have not been established; check the store page for your chosen option before purchase.
If you use Game Pass
The publisher lists Xbox Game Pass, but its announcement does not name an eligible tier or promise a particular catalog duration. Confirm the current Xbox listing and subscription terms before relying on access through a plan.
What is Persona 4 Revival?
SEGA describes Persona 4 Revival as a remake of Persona 4 Golden, with enhanced graphics, user interface, combat, and cutscenes. Those are the publisher’s descriptions, not independent assessments of the finished game or proof that one version is technically superior. P-Studio (ATLUS) is named as the production studio. SEGA says the remake is intended for new and returning players.

At the June 2025 announcement, P-Studio director Kazuhisa Wada said: “We are confident that this will be a fresh and surprising product for both newcomers and long-time fans and we look forward to sharing it with you all.” The quotation is a statement of intent, not a review of the released game.
Languages announced by SEGA
SEGA’s English release page lists Japanese and English voiceover. Its listed subtitle languages are Japanese, English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Polish, Turkish, Brazilian Portuguese, Latin American Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, and Thai. SEGA Japan’s September product information says Chinese voice is planned by patch. Language options can vary by regional edition and may change before release, so verify the current product listing for your region.

The Japanese Limited Box is described as including the game, a 48-page artbook, a T-shirt, a phone pouch, a designer box, and a costume set. Confirm local edition contents, currency, and availability before choosing an edition; the Japanese listing does not establish what will be offered elsewhere.

SEGA reported in June 2026 that the Persona series had surpassed 30 million worldwide unit sales. That is a series-wide figure, not sales of Persona 4 Revival.
