Perixx’s PERIMICE-715 Series, announced March 13, 2026, is a right-handed vertical wireless mouse with a handshake-style grip, six buttons, and a 2.4GHz receiver. The PERIMICE-715RX adds USB-C wired charging and an included wireless charging pad; the PERIMICE-715R is the corresponding configuration without that pad. The design is intended to keep the hand in a more upright position, but independent comfort, clinical, and long-term reliability testing has not been established.
What the Perixx PERIMICE-715 is
The PERIMICE-715 is a right-hand-only vertical mouse shaped around a handshake-style grip. Instead of resting the palm flat over a conventional mouse, the design rotates the hand toward a more upright posture. It has six buttons and connects wirelessly through a 2.4GHz USB receiver.
Perixx positions the series for office and home productivity rather than as a specialist gaming mouse. Its design goal is ergonomic positioning; that does not guarantee less pain or strain for every user.
PERIMICE-715R vs 715RX
| Feature | PERIMICE-715R | PERIMICE-715RX |
|---|---|---|
| Hand orientation | Right-handed | Right-handed |
| Grip and controls | Vertical handshake-style grip; six buttons | Vertical handshake-style grip; six buttons |
| Wireless connection | 2.4GHz receiver | 2.4GHz receiver |
| Included charging pad | No | Yes |
| USB-C wired charging | Not stated for this configuration | Yes |
| Wireless charging | No included pad; compatibility with other chargers is not stated | Yes, using the included pad or a compatible charger |
| Charging-pad specification | Not applicable | 10W input and at least 73% charging efficiency, according to Perixx’s 2026 specification sheet |
The practical choice is simple: choose the RX if you want a ready-to-use charging dock or USB-C charging. The R makes more sense when the charging pad is not useful and its price is sufficiently lower. If you already own a compatible wireless charger, confirm that the R model itself supports wireless charging before treating your existing pad as a substitute; the available product information does not establish that detail.

What hand size fits?
Perixx lists the mouse at 118 × 68 × 66 mm but does not publish a hand-size range in the available product information. Those dimensions suggest a medium-to-large desktop mouse, yet fit depends on finger length, palm width, grip pressure, and how far you prefer to reach the buttons.
Rank #2
- Ergonomic Vertical Mouse Design: Vertical shape keeps your wrist in a neutral, upright position to help reduce strain and discomfort compared to a standard mouse, supporting long hours of comfortable productivity.
- Quiet Click Buttons & Stable 2.4 GHz Wireless: Silent left and right mouse buttons reduce noise and help maintain focus. Note: scroll wheel and back/forward buttons are not silent. Plug-and-play wireless connection with up to 30 ft (≈10 m) range.
- Dual Charging Options – USB-C & Wireless Ready: PERIMICE-715R supports USB-C wired charging and is compatible with wireless charging (wireless charging pad not included). Includes USB-C to USB-A cable for convenient wired charging.
- Fast & Efficient Charging Performance: Supports up to 7.5W charging for compatible iPhone models, 10W for Samsung Galaxy S series devices, and 5W for other Qi-enabled devices and accessories.
- Natural Learning Curve: Due to the ergonomic shape, first-time users may need a short adjustment period. Most users adapt within 1–2 weeks and experience improved comfort and reduced wrist pressure with continued use.
- Measure first: compare the listed 118 mm length and 68 mm width with a mouse you already find comfortable.
- Check the orientation: the raised side and thumb position are designed for right-handed use only.
- Expect an adjustment period: a vertical handshake grip changes cursor movement and button reach compared with a flat mouse.
Without hands-on fitting data or independent testing, no precise small-, medium-, or large-hand cutoff can be stated.
Does the 715 support wireless charging?
The RX configuration supports both USB-C wired charging and wireless charging. Its included pad is rated at 10W, with at least 73% charging efficiency in Perixx’s 2026 specification sheet. The R is sold as the version without the included pad; the available specifications do not clearly establish whether that model accepts wireless charging from a separately purchased pad.

Is a vertical handshake mouse better for wrist comfort?
The PERIMICE-715’s upright shell is intended to reduce the amount of forearm rotation required by a conventional mouse. That is a design intention, not a clinical result. No independent comfort study, clinical trial, benchmark, or long-term reliability test was located for this model.
Comfort is therefore personal and task-dependent. A vertical mouse may feel relieving to someone who dislikes a palm-down posture, while another user may find the angle, thumb rest, or button reach tiring. Start with short sessions, keep the wrist neutral rather than bent sideways, and stop if discomfort increases.

Who should buy the PERIMICE-715?
Good fit
- Right-handed office or home users who want a vertical grip.
- Users who prefer six-button control for productivity shortcuts.
- RX buyers who value a charging pad and USB-C charging.
- People whose desk setup can accommodate a 2.4GHz USB receiver.
Reasons to choose another mouse
- You need left-handed or ambidextrous support.
- You require Bluetooth instead of a USB receiver.
- You need independently verified medical or long-term durability claims.
- You want a documented hand-size range or a confirmed R-model wireless-charging specification.
Bottom line
The PERIMICE-715 is a clearly specified right-handed vertical mouse with six buttons, optical tracking, and a 2.4GHz receiver. The RX is the more flexible version because it adds USB-C charging and an included wireless charging pad; the R is the simpler option when that accessory is not worth the price difference. Its ergonomic benefit remains a matter of individual fit, since independent comfort and clinical evidence is not available.
