As of October 4, 2026, Peacock lists three U.S. plans: Select at $8.99 per month, Premium at $12.99, and Premium Plus at $19.99. Select excludes sports, movies, and Peacock Originals; Premium adds those categories with ads; Premium Plus adds select downloads and fewer ads, but some programming still has ads. Only Premium Plus advertises downloads, and they are limited to eligible titles on supported mobile and tablet devices.

Choose Select for NBC and Bravo TV favorites
Select is the lower-priced option if the shows available in its TV lineup are enough. It does not include Peacock’s sports, movies, or Originals, so it is not the tier to pick for those categories.

Choose Premium for the broader library if ads are acceptable
Premium includes TV, movies, sports, live events, and Peacock Originals. It carries ads, making it the middle option for viewers who want that broader catalog without paying for Premium Plus.
Choose Premium Plus for select downloads and reduced ads
Premium Plus includes Premium’s content categories, offers select downloads, and removes ads from much—but not all—of the service. It is the only tier on Peacock’s plan page that advertises downloads.

Does Premium Plus remove every ad?
No. Peacock describes Premium Plus as having no ads with limited exceptions, not as completely ad-free. Its plan disclaimer says some features and content are sponsored, and ads remain in channels, live sports and events, and a few shows and movies. Peacock’s cost help page gives the same main exceptions. If avoiding ads is the deciding factor, account for those exceptions rather than assuming they disappear across the service.
How Peacock downloads work
Check whether the title is eligible
Downloads are available for select content to Premium Plus subscribers using supported mobile or tablet devices. A title must show Peacock’s Download icon to be eligible at that time. If the icon is missing, Peacock says that title cannot currently be downloaded. You also need enough free device storage.
Download and find a title for offline playback
- Open Peacock on a supported mobile or tablet device and sign in to a Premium Plus account.
- Open the title’s page and look for the Download icon. If it is not shown, choose another title or watch this one while connected.
- Tap Download and allow the app to save the item, ensuring the device has sufficient storage.
- Open the Downloads section in the app to access saved items for offline playback.
Peacock identifies supported mobile and tablet devices as a category but does not specify a complete current list of tablet models on the cited help page. Check device compatibility before relying on offline viewing. The instructions and limits are from Peacock’s offline viewing help page.

Know the download limits and expiration rules
- An account can have up to 25 downloaded pieces of content across all devices at once.
- Some eligible items can be downloaded up to ten times per account; an attempted eleventh download is blocked.
- After playback starts, that download is automatically removed after 48 hours.
- If playback has not started, the download is removed after 30 days or when the title leaves Peacock, whichever comes first.
- Logging out of the account or uninstalling the Peacock app removes that device’s downloaded Peacock content.
These are service limits published by Peacock, not a promise of permanent ownership or unrestricted offline access.
