Activision’s October 28, 2026 launch notes document attachment tuning rather than replacing this complete base table. They specifically reduce recoil-control penalties for the EXP Haste 80L 14-inch Light Barrel and the FJX Fury IV Grip. Treat those changes as build-specific handling adjustments, not as a new universal damage chart.

Bullet velocity controls how long a projectile takes to reach a distant or moving target. It does not add damage to a hit, move the range boundaries, or create a one-shot zone by itself. A faster projectile can make leading a strafing target easier, but recoil, aim stability, target movement, and connection conditions still determine whether the shot lands.
Can the Patriot XMR one-shot?
No. On the published base profile, the Patriot XMR has no one-shot zone against a standard 100-health multiplayer target.
At close range, a body shot deals 30 damage. Applying the 1.30× multiplier to that value produces approximately 39 head damage, which remains below 100. Does the Patriot XMR have a one-shot headshot?
It does not in the same 100-health scenario. The head multiplier raises each hit, but not enough to reach lethal damage from one shot in any of the three published distance bands.
The useful distinction is between a high-damage headshot and a one-shot headshot. A head hit can reduce the number of follow-up bullets required compared with body hits, especially when the target has already taken damage, but the first hit alone is not a kill on a full-health, unarmored 100-health target. - Release the trigger when the sight leaves the target. A short reset can preserve more accurate follow-up shots than allowing recoil to turn the rest of the magazine into misses.
- Use velocity to lead, not to justify extra exposure. The community-reported 620 m/s value helps with projectile travel, but it does not protect you while holding an open angle.
- Reload with the magazine plan in mind. Twenty-five rounds is enough for pressure across multiple targets only if unnecessary misses are kept low; use cover before starting a reload.
Do attachments change the Patriot XMR’s damage and range?
