Nothing Headphone (1) Pro is a premium over-ear wireless headphone with three driver types per earcup, Bluetooth 6.1, USB-C and 3.5 mm wired connections, and Auracast sharing. Its launch price was $399 / £349 / AU$699, according to TechRadar; whether the premium over Nothing Headphone (a) is worthwhile depends largely on whether you value the Pro’s detailed, cohesive sound and extra connectivity over the cheaper model’s livelier presentation.
What is Nothing Headphone (1) Pro?
It is Nothing’s premium over-ear wireless headphone. TechRadar reports that it launched on September 28, 2026, at $399 / £349 / AU$699. Those are launch prices, not a live quote or assurance of current stock; check the price in your region before buying. TechRadar’s review compares it with the less expensive Nothing Headphone (a), but does not treat the Pro as an automatic upgrade for every listener.
What makes its hardware different?
Three driver types in each earcup
Nothing lists a 40 mm bass dynamic driver, a 13 × 8 mm precision dynamic driver, and a 3.2 × 6.0 × 1.15 mm solid-state xMEMS treble driver in each earcup. These are manufacturer specifications, not a guarantee that every listener will prefer the resulting sound. Nothing’s US product page has the full specification list.
Controls and fit
The headphones have a physical roller, paddle and customizable button, plus a switch for toggling Flat EQ. Nothing describes the dual-layer cushions as 50% softer and better adapted to glasses than those on Headphone (1); it also says the headband is 10% wider with 12% thicker padding. These are Nothing’s comparisons with its earlier model, not independent comfort measurements. The listed weight is 327 g.
#1 Best Overall
- Triple Driver Architecture: Experience balanced, detailed audio with Nothing Headphone (1) Pro wireless headphones, built around a dedicated three-driver system featuring a 40 mm bass driver, precision driver, and treble XMEMS driver. Each driver is engineered to handle part of the frequency range, working together to unlock deeper bass, sharper vocals and richer textures across music, gaming, and more.
- Certified Hi-Res Audio for wireless and wired listening: Enjoy high-quality wireless audio with LDAC, or connect via USB-C for lossless, high-fidelity playback at up to 24-bit/192 kHz.
- 10-Mic Real-time Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation: Nothing Headphone (1) Pro delivers up to 46 dB of Active Noise Cancellation with 10 microphones and a new silicone sound seal. Ten microphones monitor your surroundings and automatically adjust noise cancellation in real time to reduce unwanted background noise. A new 8 mm silicone wall baffle wall inside the ear cushion provides passive isolation, while Transparency Mode lets you hear your surroundings when needed.
- Studio-Level Tuning with Metropolis Studios: Nothing partnered with Metropolis Studios, home to some of the world’s most influential audio engineers, to bring studio-level tools to Nothing Headphone (1) Pro noise cancelling headphone. Listen to the raw track with Flat EQ for reviewing music, producing or mixing, discover new EQ Profiles and feel what it's like to listen in a recording studio through a unique Dynamic Spatial Audio mode.
- Spatial Audio & Advanced EQ: Dynamic Spatial Audio has five modes: Standard, Studio B, Live House, Club and Concert Hall. Advanced EQ gives you precise control over your sound, letting you drag tuning points across multiple drivers.
How good does it sound?
TechRadar’s reviewer describes the sound as detailed and cohesive, and praises the way the multiple drivers work together. The review also reports that listening over USB-C can reveal additional detail. These are one reviewer’s impressions, not a universal result or a standardized acoustic test.
The comparison with Headphone (a) is a matter of taste as well as price: the reviewer says the less expensive model may sound more lively, and questions whether the Pro’s improvement justifies its premium for every listener. Consider your usual genres and preferred sound rather than assuming that the higher-priced model is necessarily the better match.

Flat EQ and spatial audio
Nothing’s support documentation describes Flat EQ as a neutral option for audio creators reviewing tracks or comparing mixes. That is the company’s description, not an independently established acoustic finding. The TechRadar review lists five spatial-audio modes with optional head tracking; its reviewer found the effects relatively subtle. Nothing Support also documents product features and replacement ear cushions.
What are the battery life and charging claims?
Nothing claims up to 68 hours of playback with ANC off and says five minutes of charging can provide up to four hours. Its support page says the internal battery testing used 25°C/77°F, 50% volume and other features at default settings. Actual runtime can vary with volume, source, interference, active features and listening habits, so treat the maximum as a controlled manufacturer claim rather than a promise for every use. Nothing’s support documentation gives the testing qualifications.

Nothing’s 2026 support materials give 30 hours with ANC on. TechRadar also lists 30 hours with ANC on and 68 hours with it off, but those figures should not be read as independent standardized battery-test results. Nothing’s announcement presents the company’s product claims.
Does it support wired listening and Auracast?
Yes. Nothing lists both USB-C audio and a 3.5 mm wired connection, alongside Bluetooth 6.1 and simultaneous connection to two devices. Wired USB-C listening is the connection the TechRadar reviewer says can reveal additional detail; that remains a review observation rather than a guaranteed improvement for every setup.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How does ANC and call-noise cancellation compare?
Nothing says its ten-microphone ANC system improves noise cancellation by 5 dB and provides 40% broader coverage than Headphone (1). The company also says its four-microphone Environmental Noise Cancellation for calls was trained on more than 30 million real-world samples. These are Nothing-reported comparisons and training details, not independent measurements of how well the headphones will perform in a particular room, commute or call.

Should you buy Nothing Headphone (1) Pro?
It is most compelling if you specifically want its three-driver design, wired USB-C and 3.5 mm options, Bluetooth 6.1, Auracast sharing, or the controls and fit changes Nothing describes. Its case is less clear if your priority is simply getting the liveliest sound for the money: TechRadar’s reviewer says Headphone (a) may suit some listeners better, while finding the Pro detailed and cohesive.
