If a MONOPOLY GO free-dice or shield reward does not appear, the usual cause is not a broken balance. The offer may have expired, already been redeemed on that account, been disabled, been limited to eligible accounts, or opened outside the device and account context that the game can verify.
Work through the checks below in order: read the exact redemption message, reopen the offer on the device running MONOPOLY GO, inspect every in-game reward surface, compare both dice and shield balances, and then contact Scopely support if a still-valid reward remains missing.
What the message means
The wording shown after you tap a reward is the fastest diagnostic clue. Treat each state differently instead of repeatedly tapping the same offer.
“Already claimed”
This means that specific gift has been redeemed on the account currently signed in. Trying the link again will not create a second payout. If another person, an old device, or a different login used the offer first, the game can still report it as claimed when you expected it to be new.

Expired
A reward link is time-limited. Once its redemption window closes, changing browsers, reinstalling the app, or tapping the link repeatedly cannot restore it. Reward trackers can retain old offers after the deadline, so check the date shown with the offer rather than trusting an old article or social post.
Disabled or unavailable
Scopely can turn off a promotion before a player redeems it. A disabled offer is different from a device problem and normally requires waiting for another promotion.
Not eligible
Some gifts are restricted by account, event, region, campaign, or another eligibility rule. A link can work for one account and fail for another without either player doing anything incorrectly.
No useful message
If the page opens but no reward appears, investigate the handoff between the browser and game, the signed-in account, the delivery surface, and the balances. Temporary service problems can also interrupt a claim.
Use the correct device, browser, and account
External reward links are intended to be opened on the device where MONOPOLY GO is installed. The browser must be able to hand the link to the game, and the game must be logged into the account you intend to reward.
- Confirm installation. On the phone or tablet where you play, verify that MONOPOLY GO is installed and can launch normally. If the link opens an app-store page, do not assume the offer is dead; close that page, open the device browser, and try the reward again after confirming the game is installed.
- Confirm the account. Launch MONOPOLY GO directly and check that the expected profile is active. If you switch between accounts or devices, an offer redeemed on one profile will not necessarily appear on another.
- Open the offer in the device browser. Use the browser on that same device rather than copying the URL to a desktop. Tap the link and allow the browser to pass it to MONOPOLY GO when prompted.
- Wait for the game handoff. Let the app open fully before checking the balance. A browser tab that remains on a landing page has not necessarily delivered the reward.
- Close and reopen MONOPOLY GO. After the handoff, force-close the game using the normal app switcher, then launch it again. This refreshes the visible reward state without changing your account.
There is no single browser that can be guaranteed for every phone or promotion. The important prerequisites are the correct device, an installed game, the intended account, and a completed browser-to-app handoff.

Check every place a reward can arrive
Not all free items come from an external link. Looking only at a promotional page can make a valid in-game reward appear to be missing.
Daily Treats
Daily Treats are login-based rewards that can include dice, cash, and stickers. The sequence can reset when a day is missed, so a player expecting the next streak item may instead see the beginning of a new cycle. Open the Daily Treats panel in MONOPOLY GO and read the current day’s item rather than relying on a screenshot of a previous day.
The Shop’s free gift
The Shop includes a free gift on a cooldown. Open the Shop and look for the free-gift panel, then claim it when the cooldown is available. This is separate from an external reward link and may have its own timer.
Quick Wins
Quick Wins are task-based rewards. Check the Quick Wins panel for an objective that is complete but still waiting to be collected. The item may not be credited until the in-game claim button is used.
Events and tournaments
Active events and tournaments can award dice, shields, cash, stickers, or other items through their own progress tracks. Open the current event panel and inspect both the milestone and the collect state. Event contents change, so do not assume that a particular number of dice or a shield is guaranteed every time an event returns.

Why a shield claim may look like dice
A shield-related reward is not always represented by a higher shield count. Current player coverage reports that landing on a shield tile while the shield inventory is already full can produce dice rolls instead of adding another shield. This is a reported behavior and can vary with the event or account; it is not a promise that every shield promotion converts in the same way.
- Note the shield count before collecting or landing on the reward.
- Check whether the shield inventory was already full.
- Compare the dice balance as well as the shield count.
- Restart MONOPOLY GO and check both balances again if the result is not immediately visible.
If shields were full and dice increased, the result may be the game’s handling of excess shield capacity rather than a failed claim. If neither balance changed, continue with the account, expiry, and support checks.
Reward-link expiry is a moving target
Reward pages often combine offers with different closing dates. A link that worked yesterday can be invalid today, and an older guide can continue to circulate after its offers have ended. Treat every date as a snapshot that must be checked when you use the offer.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →| Reported offer | Reported expiry | How to interpret it |
|---|---|---|
| 75-roll reward | October 20, 2026 | A time-limited report; verify that the offer is still live before attempting redemption. |
| McDonald’s Fry Guard shield | January 8, 2027 | A named promotional shield with its own later deadline; availability and eligibility still need checking. |
| Daffy Duck shield | November 23, 2026 | A separate named shield offer; do not assume it shares the 75-roll deadline. |
These examples were reported with the dates above, not as permanent rewards. A publication or social post can be stale even when the page remains online. Check the current offer wording and expiry immediately before you spend time troubleshooting it.
A complete troubleshooting sequence
Use this order so you do not repeat a step that cannot fix the underlying state.
1. Capture the exact result
Read the message after tapping the offer. Write down whether it says already claimed, expired, unavailable, or not eligible. If there is no message, note where the link opened and whether MONOPOLY GO launched.

2. Verify the offer is current
Check the listed expiry and compare it with the current date and time. If the offer has passed its deadline, stop retrying it and look for a current Daily Treats, Shop, Quick Wins, event, or tournament reward.
Recommended Free Tools
3. Verify the intended account
Open MONOPOLY GO directly and confirm the profile you expect to receive the item. Do not redeem while signed into a guest, alternate, or family member’s profile if the reward belongs elsewhere.
4. Redeem on the installed device
Open the offer from that device’s browser, let it hand off to the game, and wait for the app to finish loading. If the browser stays on the store page, return to the device browser, confirm installation, and retry.
5. Restart the app
Close MONOPOLY GO completely and reopen it. Then inspect the relevant panel and the balances. A successful handoff may require a fresh app session before the visible state updates.
6. Inspect the correct delivery surface
Check Daily Treats, the Shop’s free gift, Quick Wins, active events, tournaments, and the inventory. A reward shown in one panel will not necessarily appear in another.
7. Compare both dice and shields
For a dice claim, compare the dice balance before and after the attempt. For a shield claim, check the shield count and dice balance, especially when shields were already full. This distinguishes a conversion or capacity result from a missing delivery.

8. Wait out a temporary service issue, then retry once
Temporary service problems can prevent a valid claim from displaying. After the app restart, make one careful retry rather than repeatedly tapping an offer that already reports claimed or expired.

| What you see | Most likely explanation | Next action |
|---|---|---|
| “Already claimed” | The gift was redeemed on the current account. | Check whether another device or account used it; do not expect a second payout. |
| The link opens an app store | The device-to-game handoff did not complete or the game is not installed. | Install or verify MONOPOLY GO, then retry from the device browser. |
| The page says expired | The redemption window closed. | Use a current offer or an in-game reward surface. |
| The offer works for someone else but not you | Account eligibility or campaign limits may differ. | Confirm the intended profile and read the eligibility message. |
| Shield count stays the same while dice change | Shields may have been full and the game may have converted the result. | Check both inventories and treat the behavior as event- or account-dependent. |
| No balance changes after a successful-looking handoff | The app may not have refreshed, or a temporary service issue may be involved. | Restart, inspect all reward panels, and escalate if the offer remains valid. |
When to contact Scopely support
Escalate through Scopely’s official Help Center and the dedicated MONOPOLY GO support area when the offer is still within its stated window, the correct account and device are confirmed, the browser handoff completed, the app was reopened, and neither the expected reward surface nor the balances show the item.
Include enough detail for support to identify the transaction:
- The device type and operating-system version.
- The account context or player identifier requested by the support form; do not send credentials.
- The reward link or the name of the event, Daily Treats item, Shop gift, or tournament.
- The approximate date and time of the attempt, including your time zone.
- The exact on-screen message, such as “already claimed,” “expired,” or “not eligible.”
- Whether MONOPOLY GO opened from the browser and whether you restarted it afterward.
- Before-and-after dice and shield balances, plus screenshots if the support form allows them.
Scopely’s official MONOPOLY GO site identifies the game as developed and published by Scopely. Use that official support route rather than an unofficial page promising to restore a reward or requesting account credentials.
How to avoid future missing-reward confusion
- Redeem offers promptly because expiry dates differ from one promotion to another.
- Use the same device and account every time you claim an external reward.
- Keep the game installed and updated enough to open normally before tapping a link.
- Check Daily Treats and the Shop gift even when you are looking for a link-based reward.
- Look at dice and shield balances, not only a temporary animation.
- Remember that a full shield inventory can change how a shield-tile result is represented.
- Save the exact error text and claim time before contacting support.
What you should expect from a successful claim
A valid offer should open in the installed game under the intended account and then be reflected in the relevant reward surface or inventory. The exact item, quantity, and timing depend on the live promotion. There is no reliable universal number of dice, no permanent list of links, and no guarantee that a shield promotion will behave identically across every event or account.
If the offer is current but still absent after the complete sequence, support is the appropriate next step. Repeatedly tapping an expired, disabled, or already-claimed link cannot change that redemption state.
