Mithra is an upcoming hand-drawn mystery adventure from Seventh Disorder. It follows Kyra, a young woman from Brixton drawn into an investigation connected to Mithraism, and advertises layered puzzles, dialogue choices, and settings in London, Beijing, and Rome. The game is not yet available on the inspected Steam listing, which gives its release date as “to be announced.”
What is Mithra about?
Seventh Disorder describes Mithra as a puzzle adventure steeped in the mysteries of Mithraism. Kyra, a young woman from Brixton in South London, receives a mysterious email and discovers that her connection to the ancient group reaches deeper than she expected. The story is framed around loneliness, corruption, evil, and the power people can find collectively.

Steam characterizes the game as a 2D hand-drawn adventure mystery. Its description says Kyra’s choices will shape her fate and the world around her, though the listing does not detail the consequences or scope of those choices. The developer’s page and Steam listing present Mithraism as inspiration for the story; the phrase “world’s first cult,” used in promotional framing, should not be treated as an independently established historical fact.
How is the game advertised to play?
Observation and layered puzzles
The Steam listing describes investigative exploration and environmental, logic, and audio puzzles. Its examples include opening a taxidermy raven and controlling Kyra as a 3D character trapped inside a television. These are developer-promoted examples, not independently tested gameplay; the available descriptions do not establish puzzle difficulty, controls, or how often each type appears.

Dialogue and choices
The store page also advertises dialogue choices that affect revelations and relationships. It says choices influence Kyra’s fate and the world, but does not specify whether this leads to branching endings or how much the story changes between playthroughs.
Where does Mithra take place?
The developer names London, Beijing, and Rome as locations. Its description highlights London streets and Beijing’s hutongs and back alleys, alongside carefully crafted environments. The setting list suggests an investigation that moves across distinct cities, but the available descriptions do not say how much time the player spends in each.
What are the audio and visual features?
The developer describes Mithra as hand-drawn, with a bespoke soundtrack and audio engineering designed for the narrative. Steam says the soundtrack and sound design react to player moves. These are advertised design aims; no independent gameplay assessment is available to establish how they work in practice.
Seventh Disorder’s Steam description states, “No AI will be used in Mithra.” That is the developer’s stated intent, not independently verified evidence about the game’s production.

Steam is the platform established by the available listing; a final platform list has not been stated.

The Steam page provides options to wishlist Mithra and request playtest access. Seventh Disorder’s March 19, 2026 devlog said the studio was preparing a Kickstarter campaign and invited readers to be notified when it went live. That post establishes the plan at that time, not the campaign’s current status.
