What Looka does—and what you can try for free
Looka’s AI-assisted process starts with a company name and industry, then asks you to choose styles, colors, and symbols. It generates logo directions that you can review and adjust in an editor, including changes to colors, fonts, and layouts. Looka describes the design and preview stage as free; purchase is required to download and use the logo. Looka’s product page presents the service as a way to create a logo and related branding assets.

Free exploration is useful for deciding whether the concepts suit your business, but it is not a free-use license or a downloadable finished logo. There is no independent assessment here of output quality, ease of use, or how Looka compares with other logo tools.
Looka packages: one-time logo or annual Brand Kit
Looka’s pricing page describes a one-time logo-only purchase and annual subscriptions. The difference is whether you need logo files alone or ongoing access to a library of branded templates and, on the Web tier, a publishable website.

How much does Looka cost in 2026?
The pricing-page information available for this review identifies one-time and annual billing, but does not show numeric prices. A Looka Help Center article published December 10, 2024 listed $96 USD per year for Brand Kit and $129 USD per year for Brand Kit Web. Those are dated figures, not confirmed 2026 checkout prices; verify the amount and renewal terms on Looka’s live checkout before subscribing. The dated help article is useful for understanding what the tiers meant when it was published, not for assuming today’s price.

For the same reason, compare the price shown at checkout with your intended use: a one-time logo download versus access to Brand Kit assets for a year. The available pricing information does not establish how much either path currently costs.
What files do you get, and how do you download them?
Looka describes Basic as a low-resolution PNG. Premium includes higher-resolution PNG, EPS, SVG, and PDF files and logo variations. The vector formats are relevant when a printer or designer needs a scalable logo; confirm the specific files included in the package you select before purchase.

Looka’s Help Center says purchased files are accessible from the Brand Kit area even if you did not buy a Brand Kit subscription. You can download all files or selected variants, and Looka also sends the files by email. Downloads arrive as a ZIP archive, so Looka recommends using a computer: many phones and tablets may need additional software to extract ZIP files. See Looka’s download instructions.
These are digital files, not printed products. Looka says its print-ready PDF can be sent to a local printer or print-on-demand service; arranging and paying for printing is separate. Looka’s printing guidance explains this distinction.

Looka says buyers own the logo as a whole, including after a Brand Kit subscription expires. Its qualification matters: the ownership statement applies to the complete logo design, not to individual elements such as symbols. Looka also advises people seeking legal trademark protection to contact their local government office. This is Looka’s description of its rights terms, not a guarantee of trademark registration or exclusive rights to every component. Read the wording on Looka’s pricing page and product page before relying on it for a legal decision.
What can you change after buying?
Looka says a purchased logo can be edited and downloaded again, and the pricing page describes post-purchase changes through its editor. However, the company-name text and layout cannot be changed after purchase. If the business name is not final, settle it before buying rather than assuming you can replace it later. Looka describes these limits on its AI-logo page and pricing page.
Who should choose each option?
- Choose a one-time logo package if you need logo files and do not need an ongoing template library. Compare Basic’s single low-resolution PNG with Premium’s additional formats and variations against the requirements of your printer, website, or other intended uses.
- Consider Brand Kit if you expect to use its customizable branded assets, such as social content, stationery, or email signatures, during the subscription period.
- Consider Brand Kit Web if you want Looka’s website design and hosting as well as Brand Kit assets. Do not assume it includes ecommerce; Looka describes ecommerce as a separate upgrade.
Looka’s pricing page also says more than 20 million small-business owners use the service. That is a company-published marketing claim, not an independently validated user count, and it does not establish whether the service is right for a particular business.
