कम upload speed पर 24/7 YouTube stream के लिए ऐसा resolution और bitrate चुनें जिसे आपका connection लगातार भेज सके—सिर्फ speed test के सबसे ऊँचे नतीजे को देखकर setting न चुनें। YouTube की H.264 ingest guidance में 720p30 और 720p60 के लिए 8 Mbps recommended bitrate है; 1080p30 के लिए 14 Mbps और 1080p60 के लिए 17 Mbps। YouTube upload bandwidth का करीब 20% खाली रखने की सलाह देता है। इसलिए सीमित या अस्थिर broadband पर 720p30 एक सावधान शुरुआती विकल्प है, गारंटीशुदा preset नहीं।
कम upload speed में कितनी bitrate रखें?
पहले upload speed को उसी network पर मापें जिस पर OBS चलेगा। Download speed इसका विकल्प नहीं है: upload अक्सर धीमा हो सकता है और घर के दूसरे उपयोगकर्ताओं या उपकरणों के साथ क्षमता साझा होती है। YouTube सलाह देता है कि उपलब्ध upload bandwidth का लगभग 20% खाली छोड़ें। इस margin में audio bitrate और अन्य network traffic को भी जगह चाहिए।
एक व्यावहारिक शुरुआती सीमा यह है कि stream की कुल bitrate—video और audio मिलाकर—मापे गए स्थिर upload के लगभग 80% से ऊपर न जाए। यदि OBS में dropped frames दिखें या YouTube stream health अस्थिर हो, तो bitrate घटाएँ और दोबारा जाँचें। OBS troubleshooting में कुल upload speed के 75% को भी एक अच्छा starting point कहा गया है; ये दिशानिर्देश हैं, performance की गारंटी नहीं। YouTube की streaming tips और OBS का connection troubleshooting guide देखें।
YouTube की H.264 bitrate तालिका
नीचे दिए मान YouTube की H.264 live-ingest guidance के हैं। Recommended bitrate platform का सुझाया ingest लक्ष्य है, हर सीमित broadband connection के लिए अनिवार्य setting नहीं। Minimum को लक्ष्य बनाने के बजाय उपलब्ध upload margin और stream की स्थिरता को प्राथमिकता दें। Codec स्पष्ट किए बिना इन मानों को AV1 या H.265 पर लागू न करें; YouTube की उन codecs के लिए अलग recommendations हैं।

अगर upload सीमित है, तो 1080p से 720p पर आना या 60 FPS की जगह 30 FPS चुनना bitrate की माँग घटाने का तरीका है। 60 FPS तभी चुनें जब content में तेज गति का लाभ हो और connection उसे स्थिर रूप से संभाल सके। YouTube ingest के बाद viewers के लिए अलग-अलग playback qualities उपलब्ध करा सकता है; ingest resolution वह गुणवत्ता है जो आप encoder से भेजते हैं। YouTube की encoder settings और bitrate तालिका में codec, resolution और frame rate के अनुसार guidance दी गई है।
भारत में OBS को 24/7 YouTube stream के लिए सेट करें
- Upload को वास्तविक परिस्थितियों में मापें। संभव हो तो OBS वाले computer को Ethernet से जोड़ें। उसी network पर चल रहे uploads और downloads रोककर speed test करें, फिर दिन के अलग समय पर दोहराएँ। एक test लंबे समय तक स्थिर connection साबित नहीं करता; घर के साझा उपयोग और provider congestion से उपलब्ध क्षमता बदल सकती है।
- Stream की कुल bitrate के लिए margin रखें। स्थिर upload के करीब 80% या उससे नीचे कुल stream bitrate से शुरुआत करें। Video bitrate में audio भी जोड़ना है, और दूसरे network उपयोग के लिए जगह छोड़नी है। यदि कनेक्शन में उतार-चढ़ाव हो, तो 75% के आसपास से शुरुआत करना और भी सतर्क विकल्प हो सकता है।
- YouTube पर encoder stream बनाकर OBS जोड़ें। YouTube Live Control Room में encoder के लिए stream बनाएँ और वहाँ का stream URL तथा stream key OBS की Stream settings में भरें। YouTube RTMP/RTMPS ingest बताता है और RTMPS की अनुशंसा करता है। OBS interface में labels version के अनुसार बदल सकते हैं। प्रक्रिया के लिए YouTube का encoder से live stream बनाने वाला मार्गदर्शन देखें।
- OBS में output और video सेटिंग चुनें। OBS के Settings → Output में video bitrate और Settings → Video में output (scaled) resolution तथा FPS देखें। YouTube के अनुसार CBR और 2-second keyframe frequency रखें; keyframe interval 4 seconds से अधिक न हो। उपलब्ध upload के अनुरूप resolution, FPS और bitrate चुनें।
- वास्तविक content के साथ test करें। केवल स्थिर स्क्रीन पर परीक्षण न करें: stream में आने वाली वास्तविक गति और audio चलाएँ। YouTube preview तथा stream health और OBS का dropped-frame indicator देखें। YouTube के परीक्षण और monitoring सुझाव Streaming tips में हैं।
- Dropped frames पर bitrate घटाकर फिर जाँचें। यदि समस्या जारी रहे, तो FPS या resolution घटाएँ और test दोहराएँ। Wi-Fi पर समस्या हो तो router के पास Ethernet cable से तुलना करें। Wired connection Wi-Fi अस्थिरता को दूर करने में मदद कर सकता है, लेकिन ISP की upload क्षमता या provider की congestion नहीं बदलता।
- Stream key सुरक्षित रखें। इसे password की तरह मानें; screenshot या सार्वजनिक जगह पर न दिखाएँ। Key उजागर हो जाए तो YouTube Studio में reset करके OBS में नया key डालें। YouTube के live stream settings और stream key प्रबंधन में यह विकल्प समझाया गया है।
24/7 stream का data use और भारत में broadband सीमाएँ
एक लगातार stream पूरे दिन upload data भेजती है। अनुमान के लिए कुल bitrate लें—video और audio सहित। Decimal units में 1 Mbps × 86,400 seconds ÷ 8 bits प्रति byte लगभग 10.8 GB प्रतिदिन होता है; 30 दिनों में करीब 324 GB। उदाहरण के लिए, 3 Mbps कुल bitrate पर गणितीय अनुमान लगभग 32.4 GB प्रतिदिन और 30 दिनों में 972 GB है। ये bitrate से निकले अनुमान हैं, किसी ISP के प्रकाशित आँकड़े नहीं; वास्तविक उपयोग में overhead अलग हो सकता है।

भारत के सभी ISP, शहरों और broadband plans के लिए एक समान upload speed या monthly fair-use limit मानना ठीक नहीं। अपने provider से upload क्षमता, fair-use policy और लगातार भारी उपयोग की शर्तें जाँचें। Official setup guidance 24/7 uninterrupted uptime की गारंटी नहीं देती: बिजली, PC stability, ISP reliability, reconnect behavior और monitoring भी continuity को प्रभावित करते हैं। YouTube बताता है कि network interruption से stream टूट सकती है।
