KRAFTON unveiled Battlin in Hyderabad on 17 October 2026 as an India-focused, BGMI-first platform for finding, entering and running gaming tournaments. It combines open tournament listings, squad registration, scheduling, room management, notifications, result confirmation, leaderboards and prize disbursement in one service. Players can discover competitions without relying on personal invitations, while organizers get tools for event administration and sponsors can support prize pools or named circuits.
What is Battlin, and why did KRAFTON launch it?
Battlin is designed to connect casual BGMI players with organized competition while reducing the administrative work involved in grassroots events. KRAFTON’s Battlin lead, James Yongkwan Kim, said India’s competitive-player base and gaming communities are strong, but the route from casual play to serious competition has been fragmented.
The service is positioned as a single workflow rather than a collection of chat groups, spreadsheets and separate payment processes. Its stated scope covers tournament discovery, registration, scheduling, match-room administration, participant alerts, result capture, leaderboards and reward payouts.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsKRAFTON’s positioning is broad enough to cover a college LAN, a city tournament or a larger circuit. The initial emphasis, however, is BGMI and the Indian market.

How can players find and join a Battlin tournament?
Players use the tournament listings to find an event, review its conditions and register a squad. Battlin’s official site says listings can be filtered by game, city, entry fee and format.
Review the listing before registering
Each event is intended to show its reward conditions and expected disbursement timeline before registration. That information matters because entry requirements, format and payout timing can differ between tournaments.
Register a squad
Open competitions are meant to be joinable without a personal invitation. A squad registration records the participating roster inside the event workflow, rather than leaving organizers to collect names through separate messaging channels.
Follow matches and results
Participant notifications, match-room details and result confirmation are handled through the platform’s tournament tools. Battlin also advertises verified or season-long leaderboards, giving players a way to track standings beyond an individual match.
KRAFTON says competitions are decided by skill. The Battlin Open launch materials specify no wagering, staking or betting mechanic.
How can organizers host a BGMI tournament on Battlin?
Organizers get a dashboard that brings event setup and operations into one service. The documented workflow is:
- Create the event: define the tournament and its registration details in the organizer dashboard.
- Choose a format: Battlin advertises automatic generation for single-elimination, double-elimination, round-robin and battle-royale point formats.
- Set the schedule and rooms: arrange rounds, match rooms and check-ins, then send participant notifications from the event tools.
- Confirm results: capture scores and results in the platform so standings and leaderboards can be maintained.
- Handle disputes: use the in-platform dispute process rather than relying solely on private messages or external forms.
- Complete payouts: reward disbursement is handled through the platform, with timing and conditions presented to participants for the event.
Battlin also says organizers are KYC-checked. That may give participants more information about who is running an event, although the launch material does not publish a separate verification standard or an independent audit.

What are the Battlin Open Season 1 dates and prizes?
The launch tournament is Battlin Open Season 1. KRAFTON’s published schedule and prize details are:
| Item | Published detail |
|---|---|
| Registration | Open through 1 November 2026 |
| Competition window | 2 November through 29 November 2026 |
| Total registration capacity | More than 5,000 slots |
| Combined prize pool | ₹20,00,000 |
| Track 1 | ₹5,00,000 prize pool and a BGIS slot |
| Track 2 | ₹15,00,000 prize pool; finale on 29 November 2026 |
The figures and dates are KRAFTON’s 2026 launch announcements. Participants should check the live event listing for the applicable roster rules, format, reward conditions and payout schedule before submitting a registration.
Does Battlin Open Season 1 include a BGIS qualification slot?
Yes. KRAFTON lists a BGIS slot as part of Track 1. The launch information confirms the slot exists, but it does not provide all qualification, eligibility or progression rules in the published summary, so those details need to be taken from the event’s current terms.
How do sponsors fit into Battlin?
The official platform materials offer sponsor placements around prize pools and named circuits and say sponsors can measure impressions. That creates a route for brands to attach themselves to a tournament series instead of sponsoring only a single broadcast or team.

Why is Battlin focused on BGMI?
BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA is a mobile battle-royale game for iOS and Android. KRAFTON India’s current 2026 page describes seven maps, 100-player matches and 260,000,000 accumulated downloads.
That mobile-first audience helps explain Battlin’s emphasis on open access and squad registration rather than a PC-only league workflow. The platform is intended to make participation reachable for players who may not already belong to a professional esports organization.

Is Battlin available as an app now?
The Battlin website is live and describes its tournament, organizer, sponsor, payout and leaderboard functions, but its footer says “Coming soon to Android.” The available launch information does not establish a generally available iOS app or provide an app-store release listing.
Recommended Free Tools
Availability should therefore be checked immediately before registering or publishing an event. A live website does not, by itself, confirm that every mobile feature or app download is available in every region.
How does Battlin fit KRAFTON India’s esports roadmap?
KRAFTON India’s 2026 roadmap, announced at the BGMI International Cup 2025 finale, expands BGIS, BMPS, BMSD and BMIC across multiple cities and adds four KRAFTON-supported open tournaments.
Battlin supplies the grassroots layer of that strategy: open events can feed player discovery and standings while the established properties continue to provide larger competitive circuits. KRAFTON has not described Battlin as a replacement for those leagues.
What is still unconfirmed about the platform?
- No independent audit of payouts, anti-cheat controls or dispute outcomes is included in the launch material.
- The sources do not provide an app-store listing confirming a public Android or iOS release.
- No tested comparison with another tournament service establishes a performance advantage.
- Published dates, capacity and prize figures should be rechecked after the registration window if Battlin Open Season 1 is covered as an evergreen reference.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there one standard entry fee for Battlin tournaments?
No universal fee is stated. Because listings can be filtered by entry fee, the amount can vary by event; read the individual tournament terms before registering.
Can organizers run Battlin events outside India?
Battlin launched with an India-focused scope, and the available announcement does not confirm expansion to other countries. Organizers should verify geographic eligibility for any specific event.
Does Battlin publish anti-cheat certification?
The launch materials do not identify an independent anti-cheat certification or audit. Any competitive-integrity safeguards should be confirmed in the rules for the tournament you are considering.
Where can I find the exact rules for the BGIS slot?
The announcement confirms that Track 1 includes a slot, but its full eligibility and progression conditions are not in the summary. Check the current Battlin Open Season 1 listing and its official terms for the complete rule set.
