CNBC also reported that a strong jobs report, possible SpaceX IPO activity, weakness in Apple and additional AI fundraising made Cramer less confident. His conclusion was deliberately cautious rather than a forecast of an immediate collapse.

In Benzinga’s account, the 30-year Treasury yield reached 5.63% on September 30, 2026, described as its highest level since June 2002. The 30-year yield had risen for seven consecutive sessions. Cramer’s point was that investors were still willing to sell long-term bonds despite those yields, suggesting that inflation, government borrowing or other risks were demanding compensation.
“The only conclusion: the bond sellers so far have been anything but stupid,” he said.

Is the AI rally hiding a broader market problem?
It may be. CNBC reported that the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index rose for 18 straight sessions and gained more than 47% during that run.
