- Single-player: The listing specifies one player.

How to get the PS5 version
- Open the PlayStation Store on your PS5 or use the PlayStation Store website for your region.
- Search for Valor Mortis and confirm that the product page identifies the PS5 version.
- Check the displayed edition and regional price before completing the purchase.
- Select the download option, then launch the game after installation finishes.
The available listing confirms the PS5 version and its controller and offline features, but it does not document a PS4 edition. Do not assume a PS4 download is included unless your regional store page explicitly says so.
Is Valor Mortis on Xbox Series X|S?
Yes. Valor Mortis launched for both Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S on October 13, 2026. The Xbox store listing also identifies Xbox Play Anywhere and cloud gaming capabilities.
Xbox Play Anywhere
The Xbox listing marks the title as Xbox Play Anywhere. That designation is the platform’s cross-device entitlement label for supported Xbox and Windows purchases, but the exact entitlement shown to you depends on the product page, account, region, and edition. Verify the store’s Xbox Play Anywhere badge before buying if access across Xbox and Windows matters to you.

Xbox lists cloud gaming for Valor Mortis. Cloud play can be useful when you want to start without waiting for a full local installation, but the actual experience depends on your subscription, region, network connection, and Microsoft account. The listing confirms the capability; it does not specify a universal streaming resolution, latency level, or hardware requirement.

“Day one” means the subscription availability was announced for the launch date rather than being added after a later waiting period. The available announcement does not identify every Game Pass tier, country, or future catalog date. Open the Game Pass app or Xbox product page while signed in to your account to see whether your subscription and region include the game and whether the listing offers download, cloud play, or both.
Game Pass access is separate from the Steam purchase path. A PC player should not assume that an Xbox Game Pass entitlement automatically creates a Steam license; use the storefront named by the entitlement shown on your account.

The announcement establishes a base launch price but does not provide a complete edition-by-edition feature list. If a store presents multiple editions, compare the included content and price on that store’s product page rather than assuming the base version includes additional bonuses.
Which version should you choose?
Choose PS5 if you use PlayStation hardware
The PS5 release is the straightforward choice for PlayStation owners. Its documented advantages are offline play, single-player support, and DualSense vibration and trigger effects. Buy it through the PlayStation Store and confirm that the product page says PS5.
Choose Xbox Series X|S if you use Xbox services
The Xbox version is the relevant option for Series X or Series S owners, especially if you want to use the announced Game Pass availability, cloud gaming listing, or Xbox Play Anywhere capability. Confirm the current catalog and entitlement on your Microsoft account before relying on a subscription instead of a purchase.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
Choose Steam for a PC-first library
The Steam edition is the confirmed PC storefront release. It is appropriate when you want the game managed through Steam’s library, installation, and update system. Review the live system requirements before purchase because the launch announcement does not state the hardware specifications.
What is not confirmed?
The confirmed platform set is limited to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The cited launch materials do not confirm:
- A PlayStation 4 version
- An Xbox One version
- A Nintendo Switch version
- An iOS or Android version
- A physical-disc edition or its regional distribution
- Specific PC minimum or recommended hardware requirements
- Which individual Game Pass tiers receive access in every region
Absence of a listing is not proof that a future port can never happen; it means those versions are not part of the confirmed October 13, 2026 launch information. Treat any later platform claim as provisional until it appears on an official store page or publisher announcement.
Quick checks before you download
- Check the platform label: PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or Steam PC.
- Check the release or availability status in your country.
- Compare the current price with the publisher’s stated base launch figures of $39.99, €39.99, or 149.99 zł.
- On Xbox, verify whether your Game Pass plan currently includes the title and whether cloud play is enabled for your account.
- On PS5, confirm that the listing shows offline play, one player, and DualSense effects if those features matter to you.
- On PC, read the Steam system requirements before purchasing.
- Do not assume support for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, or mobile without a new official listing.
Bottom line
Valor Mortis is not waiting for a future launch: it released on October 13, 2026. The supported launch platforms are PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam. Xbox adds listed cloud gaming and Play Anywhere capabilities, and the publisher announced day-one Xbox Game Pass availability. The base launch prices announced by Lyrical Games were $39.99, €39.99, and 149.99 zł, but your regional store page controls the price and edition details you see.
