Other evidence points in the opposite direction. IsItDownOrJustMe recorded a timeout and HTTP 0 in a June diagnostic, while NotOpening recorded repeated approximately 10-second timeouts on July 26 and 27. Reddit users also reported that the service remained inaccessible on August 6, although user reports are anecdotal rather than authoritative.
Best verdict: TheTVApp.to appears to be down or inaccessible for many users, with intermittent monitor disagreement. There is not enough verified evidence to call it a confirmed global outage or a permanent shutdown.
Why an active domain does not mean the service works
Registration and certificate records show that thetvapp.to has not simply expired. An active registration and valid HTTPS certificate can coexist with an offline, misconfigured, abandoned, blocked, or partially disabled service. You can review the domain records through WHOIS and the certificate information through Cloudflare Radar, but neither source is an uptime confirmation.

Do not assume a site using the same branding is official
Search results and social posts may point to alleged replacement domains, mirrors, APK files, browser extensions, or “working player” pages. Branding alone does not establish ownership. Separately, the U.S. Department of Justice announced on June 26, 2026 that nearly 400 domains used for unauthorized World Cup streaming had been seized. The release also warned that illegal streaming websites can expose visitors to malware and insecure connections.
