A reported GUNNIR-labeled Intel Arc sample appeared in Windows with 16 GB of local memory, but that does not establish a retail 16 GB desktop Arc A750. The sample’s 512-bit sticker was also unconfirmed: reporting noted that GPU-Z showed a 256-bit interface. Intel’s official desktop A750 specification is 8 GB on a 256-bit bus.
What was pictured—and what the reports establish
On September 15, 2025, HotHardware reported that Japanese X user Komenezumi had acquired a GUNNIR card labeled “Intel Arc Sample1 TF 16G Graphics Card.” According to the report, Windows and Intel Arc drivers showed 16 GB of local memory. Tom’s Hardware reported the same sample as an engineering sample, with images showing one GPU core, two 8-pin power connectors, and an “Intel Arc Sample” sticker.
Those details support a narrow conclusion: a sample was reported displaying 16 GB. They do not show that Intel or a board partner released a 16 GB desktop A750 for retail. Independent physical verification of the sample’s board-level memory configuration is not established in the cited reports. Tom’s Hardware’s report and HotHardware’s report describe the sample and its limits.
Is the 512-bit memory bus real?
It is not confirmed. The 512-bit figure appeared on a sticker on the sample, but HotHardware reported that the owner could not verify it and that GPU-Z showed a 256-bit interface. HotHardware assessed the sticker as most likely mistaken. Without independent board-level verification, the 512-bit claim should be treated as an unverified label, not a confirmed specification.

How the sample compares with Intel’s listed products
Intel’s product specifications distinguish the standard desktop Arc A750 from the embedded Arc A750E. The E model is an official 16 GB product, but it is not the pictured desktop sample.
| Product | Memory | Interface | Bandwidth | Memory speed | Market identity |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Arc A750 | 8 GB GDDR6 | 256-bit | 512 GB/s | 16 Gbps | Standard desktop model |
| Arc A750E | 16 GB GDDR6 | 256-bit | 560 GB/s | 17.5 Gbps | Embedded product; Intel lists launch in Q3 2024 |
| Reported GUNNIR Arc sample | 16 GB shown in Windows and Intel Arc drivers, according to HotHardware | 512-bit sticker unconfirmed; HotHardware reports GPU-Z showed 256-bit | not stated (HotHardware and Tom’s Hardware reports) | not stated (HotHardware and Tom’s Hardware reports) | Reported sample/engineering sample; no established retail release |
Intel lists 28 Xe-cores for both the desktop A750 and A750E. That shared core count does not make the products interchangeable: they differ in memory capacity, speed, bandwidth, device ID, and market segment. See Intel’s Arc A750 specifications and Arc A750E specifications.

What is known about the sample’s performance?
The reports did not benchmark the sample, so its performance is unknown. A reported 16 GB memory display or a bus-width sticker is not a performance result; neither supports a claim that this card outperforms the standard A750 or any other GPU.

For a normal desktop Arc A750, use Intel’s listed specification: 8 GB GDDR6 and a 256-bit interface. The reported 16 GB sample has no established retail listing, while the A750E is an embedded product rather than the pictured desktop card. Confirm the exact model and memory specifications in a seller’s listing before buying; do not treat the sample story as evidence of a retail 16 GB A750.
