That distinction matters: the announcement describes both collaboration cosmetics and quest-earned event rewards. It does not support saying that every named item must be bought, or that every item is obtainable for free.

The official global teaser advertises two free mounts for eligible accounts created by December 2, 2026. The mounts must be claimed by December 9, 2026. These are limited launch-offer terms, not a permanent entitlement for all accounts; check the official offer page for the stated conditions.

What do regional sales figures tell you?
NCSoft reported that, across the Korea and Taiwan service, cumulative revenue exceeded KRW 100 billion by January 3, 2026, 46 days after the November 19 launch. It also reported that more than one million characters purchased memberships during that period. These are the publisher’s historical figures for those regional servers: “characters” should not be read as a count of unique people, and the figures do not describe global-service revenue or prove what any particular player must spend.
