If Full Page is missing after you screenshot a Safari webpage on iPhone, open the screenshot preview and check there: Apple’s current iOS 26 guide still documents the option. The preview may now open full screen by default, rather than appearing as the familiar thumbnail. Follow the steps below, then use the checks to narrow down what is happening.
Find Full Page in Safari’s screenshot preview
- Open the webpage in Safari. Apple’s documented example is an entire webpage in Safari.
- Take a regular screenshot. On a Face ID iPhone, quickly press and release the Side button and Volume Up together. On an iPhone with a Home button, quickly press and release the Side button and Home together.
- Open the screenshot preview. If a thumbnail appears, tap it. If the screenshot opens full screen, interact with that screen to reach the editing controls.
- Tap Full Page. In the preview, you can drag on the image to inspect content below the screen.
- Choose how to save it. Tap Save to Photos for an image, or Save PDF to Files for a PDF.
Apple describes Full Page as a way to capture content longer than the iPhone display, including an entire webpage in Safari. See Apple’s iPhone screenshot instructions.

If you cannot find the screenshot preview
The screenshot presentation can look different from what you expect. Apple says screenshots appear full screen by default in its current screen-capture settings guide. That changes how the preview is presented; Apple does not say it turns Full Page on or off.
If you prefer the thumbnail preview, go to Settings > General > Screen Capture and turn off Full-Screen Previews. This is an optional display preference, not a documented requirement for Full Page. See Apple’s screen capture settings instructions.

If Full Page is still missing
Try another long webpage in Safari and repeat the screenshot steps. If the option appears there, note whether the issue is limited to the original page. If it is absent on both, record your iPhone model and iOS version before seeking case-specific help.
Apple’s public instructions explain the standard workflow but do not provide a complete list of supported pages, apps, models, or iOS builds, or identify every reason the control might not appear. They also do not promise a universal reset that restores it. If the steps do not resolve the issue, contact Apple Support with your model, iOS version, and whether Full Page is missing on another long Safari webpage.
