To verify a JUST (JST) burn, begin with the canonical JST TRC20 contract TCFLL5dx5ZJdKnWuesXxi1VPwjLVmWZZy9. On TRONSCAN, open the JST token page, select Transfers, and find a successful transfer whose recipient exactly matches the burn address named in the applicable official JUST or JustLend disclosure. Open that transaction and record its hash, block number and time, sender, recipient, JST amount, and token contract. Finally, compare the on-chain amount with the burn-round total that was announced.
A ticker by itself does not authenticate a token. The contract address, successful transaction status, recipient, token amount, and TRC20 event are the evidence that turns an announcement into an independently checkable burn record.
What counts as evidence of a JST burn?
A JST burn is not established merely because an announcement says tokens were burned or because an address has a label such as “burn.” The verifiable event is a successful JST transfer to the burn recipient disclosed for that particular round. The transfer must use the canonical JST contract, and its transaction detail must be available for anyone to inspect on TRONSCAN.

- Completed execution: the transaction status is successful and it has a block number and timestamp.
- Matching event: the transaction’s TRC20
Transferevent shows the same sender, recipient, and amount. - Reconciled quantity: the transfer amount, interpreted using the token decimals displayed by TRONSCAN, agrees with the announced round total or is explained as one part of a multi-transaction round.
This approach distinguishes a permanent token transfer from an ordinary wallet movement, a failed transaction, or a transfer involving a different token that happens to use the JST ticker.

Confirm the official JST contract before searching
TRONSCAN’s support material identifies TCFLL5dx5ZJdKnWuesXxi1VPwjLVmWZZy9 as the JST TRC20 contract. Confirm that address in the token page and in the transaction details before interpreting any transfer. Contract identity is the first check because token names and tickers are not unique across a blockchain.
Use the contract address rather than a ticker-only search whenever TRONSCAN offers both options. If a search result has a similar name but a different contract, treat it as a different asset until an official JUST or JustLend document proves otherwise. Keep the full 34-character TRON address when copying it; a shortened address shown in a table is not sufficient for an audit.
Step-by-step: verify a burn on TRONSCAN
1. Identify the burn round and its disclosure
Start with the official JUST or JustLend announcement for the round you are checking. Note the publication date, the stated JST quantity, and the complete burn-recipient address. The retrieved documentation does not establish one universal recipient address for every historical and current round, so the address must come from the applicable disclosure rather than from an address remembered from another event.

That determines whether you should expect one matching row or a set of rows whose sum equals the published figure.
2. Open the JST token page
In TRONSCAN, search for the canonical contract TCFLL5dx5ZJdKnWuesXxi1VPwjLVmWZZy9 and open its JST TRC20 token page. Select the Transfers view. This view lists token-transfer rows and is the appropriate starting point for locating a burn; a general account search can mix JST with other assets and transactions.
Keep the disclosure’s date window and amount visible while you search. If the interface provides filters, use the date range and token amount to narrow the list, but still inspect the full recipient address in each candidate row.
3. Locate the candidate transfer
Find an outgoing JST transfer whose recipient exactly equals the disclosed burn address. Compare the complete hexadecimal-style TRON address, not only the first and last characters or a display name. Check the transfer date against the announcement, allowing for the fact that publication and on-chain execution can occur on different dates.

When a round uses more than one transaction, collect every candidate transfer to that recipient within the announced execution window. Do not add unrelated transfers merely because they have similar amounts or occurred near the same date.
4. Open the transaction detail
Select the candidate row to open its transaction page. Record the transaction hash exactly as displayed; it is the durable identifier that another reader can paste into TRONSCAN. Record the block number and the block timestamp as well. The timestamp is the on-chain execution time, which may differ from the date printed in an announcement.
Confirm that the transaction status is successful. A failed or reverted transaction is not a completed burn even if a transfer attempt appears in a preliminary activity list. Also verify that the token shown in the transaction is JST and that its contract is TCFLL5dx5ZJdKnWuesXxi1VPwjLVmWZZy9.
5. Check amount and token decimals
Read the JST amount from the token-transfer record and note the decimals that TRONSCAN displays for that token. Blockchain events store integer base units; the human-readable JST amount is obtained by applying the token’s displayed decimal precision. Use the interface’s formatted amount for your publication record, while preserving the raw value when the page exposes it so that another reviewer can reproduce the conversion.

Do not round a transfer to make it fit an announcement. If the on-chain value differs from the published number, retain the exact on-chain value and describe the difference as a reconciliation issue.
6. Verify the TRC20 event
In the transaction’s contract, event, or internal-event section, locate the TRC20 Transfer event. Confirm that its from address is the sender shown in the transfer row, its to address is the disclosed burn recipient, and its value corresponds to the same JST amount after applying the displayed decimals.
Some TRONSCAN layouts expose a contract-call trail in addition to the event log. Use that trail to reconcile the token transfer, but do not substitute a native TRX movement for the TRC20 event. The event is the token-level record that proves JST moved.

7. Reconcile the transfer with the announcement
Compare the exact successful transfer amount with the official round total. If one transaction contains the entire burn, the values should match after accounting for token decimals and any explicitly stated unit formatting. If the round contains several transfers, sum only the verified JST transfers to the disclosed recipient and compare that sum with the announcement.

Report any difference instead of silently rounding it away. A difference can result from multiple transactions, a disclosure that uses a rounded figure, or a mismatch that needs clarification from the publisher. The comparison should preserve both numbers, their units, and the dates on which they were reported or executed.
8. Preserve an evidence record
For each verified transfer, save the transaction hash, the TRONSCAN transaction-page address, block number, block time, sender, recipient, token contract, formatted JST amount, raw amount if available, and a screenshot or exported row. Save the corresponding official disclosure and record the date on which you accessed both records.
An evidence file should allow a second person to repeat the search without relying on your browser history. Keep the full addresses and hashes in text form; screenshots alone can make copying or comparing characters difficult.
Published JST burn figures for comparison
JustLend DAO documentation accessed in 2026 lists these earlier round totals. They are comparison figures, not substitutes for checking the individual transactions and recipient addresses on TRONSCAN.

The documentation describes the mechanism as using eligible protocol and JUST ecosystem revenue to buy JST on the open market and send it to a burn address, permanently removing it from circulation. The description explains the intended mechanism; the transaction-level checks above establish whether a particular round’s transfer occurred.
How to handle disagreements between records
When an announcement and a TRONSCAN result do not line up, compare the records in a fixed order rather than choosing whichever number looks closest.

- Contract identity: confirm both records refer to
TCFLL5dx5ZJdKnWuesXxi1VPwjLVmWZZy9. - Recipient: compare the complete burn address from the disclosure with the transaction’s recipient.
- Execution status and time: verify success, block number, and on-chain timestamp; distinguish those from the announcement date.
- Raw amount and decimals: compare base-unit values and the decimal setting shown by TRONSCAN before comparing formatted numbers.
- Transaction count: determine whether the published total combines multiple transfers.
- Rounding or wording: preserve a rounded announcement such as “23.53 million” alongside the exact transfer total instead of presenting the rounded figure as an exact integer.
If these checks still leave a difference, describe it as an unresolved disclosure-versus-on-chain reconciliation issue. Do not label the event a verified burn until the discrepancy is explained or the evidence is clearly qualified.
Do not confuse JST burns with TRX fee burning
TRON’s native network can destroy TRX as part of its fee process. That is a separate network-level action and is not evidence that JST was burned. A transaction can consume or burn TRX for fees while transferring no JST at all.
For a JST claim, the transfer record must show the JST symbol and the canonical JST contract. Check the token section and the TRC20 Transfer event, not only the transaction’s native TRX fee or account-balance changes.
Common mistakes and their fixes
Searching by ticker alone
Problem: several contracts can use the same ticker, and a search result may not be the official JST token.
Fix: begin with TCFLL5dx5ZJdKnWuesXxi1VPwjLVmWZZy9 and confirm it again in the transfer detail.
Using a shortened burn address
Problem: two addresses can share the same visible beginning and ending characters.
Fix: copy the complete recipient from the official round disclosure and compare every character with the transaction record.

Accepting a pending or failed transaction
Problem: an attempted transfer can appear in activity before execution is final, or a failed call can remain visible in history.
Fix: open the transaction and require a successful status plus a confirmed block number.
Checking only the token-page row
Problem: a row can be misread, truncated, or detached from the event details needed to verify sender and amount.

Forcing the numbers to match
Problem: rounding, decimal conversion, or multiple transfers can create a real difference.
Fix: retain the exact on-chain amount, list every transaction in a multi-transfer round, and state the difference explicitly.
Assuming the announcement date is the execution date
Problem: a disclosure can be published before or after the blockchain transaction.
Fix: report the disclosure date and the block timestamp as separate facts.
A compact audit checklist
- Official disclosure identified, including its date and stated round total.
- Burn recipient copied in full from that disclosure.
- JST contract confirmed as
TCFLL5dx5ZJdKnWuesXxi1VPwjLVmWZZy9. - TRONSCAN token page opened and Transfers selected.
- Candidate transfer recipient matches the disclosed address exactly.
- Transaction status is successful and a block number and time are present.
- JST symbol and canonical contract appear in the transaction details.

- All transfers in the round were summed when necessary.
- On-chain and published totals were compared without hidden rounding.
- Transaction hash, disclosure, access date, and supporting screenshots or exports were archived.
What this method can and cannot establish
This workflow can establish that a specified amount of the canonical JST token was transferred successfully to the recipient named for a particular burn round, and it preserves the transaction data needed for independent checking. It can also reveal whether a published total is made up of several transfers or differs from the chain record.
It cannot establish a single permanent burn address for every JST round: the available JUST and JustLend material does not provide one stable recipient covering all historical and current events. Always use the recipient in the applicable official disclosure. It also cannot turn a TRX fee burn, a failed transaction, or a transfer from another contract into a JST burn.
