Wachete says its monitors run on its servers, so your computer does not need to stay online. The service describes these features on its official price-monitoring page; they have not been independently tested here.
Set up a Wachete product-price monitor
- Add the product page. Copy the URL of the exact item page and create a monitor in Wachete. Its FAQ describes creating a monitor by entering a page URL and choosing monitoring and notification settings: Wachete FAQ.
- Select the price field. In the page preview, click or point to the displayed price so the monitor tracks that value instead of unrelated page changes. Wachete’s price-monitoring instructions describe selecting the price on the page.
- Set the alert condition. If you have a target budget, configure a numeric rule such as notifying you when the price falls below that amount. Wachete says numeric values can support greater-than or less-than alerts; its product-price page also describes notifications when a price moves up or down.
- Choose notifications and frequency. Select the notification destination and check cadence available to your account. Wachete mentions email, phone or push, and chat channels, but the exact channels and availability depend on current account and plan options. Review those settings before saving.
- Save and review the monitor. Check its recorded values or chart to confirm it is following the intended price. Wachete says its monitors run on its servers, so your own device can be offline.
How often does Wachete check a price?
Wachete’s product-price page says paid-plan checks can run as often as every few minutes, while the free plan checks once a day. These are vendor-stated limits, not independent measurements, and no publication date is shown on the page. Check the current plan details in your account before relying on a particular cadence: Wachete price monitoring. A less frequent check can also mean a short-lived sale ends before the next recorded check.
What a tracked price does—and does not—tell you
The monitor follows the selected value on the product page. It does not establish the final checkout total, which may differ because of shipping, taxes, coupons, membership requirements, or regional pricing. Confirm the seller’s current checkout total before buying.
Wachete describes price charts and says the price history chart can be kept for up to five years on its product-price page. Its general features page and homepage instead describe history of up to twelve months. Those statements differ in scope; verify the retention that applies to your monitor and plan rather than assuming either period applies universally.

Can Wachete track the price in another currency?
Wachete describes combining page values with a formula and gives converting a US-dollar price to euros using a live exchange rate as an example. This is a vendor-described capability, not an independently verified workflow. See its price-monitoring page and features page for details.
Plan limits and what to verify
Wachete’s homepage presents plan tiers by monitored-page count, but the available pricing display does not establish usable current prices or check intervals. The price page states the free-versus-paid cadence noted above; do not assume that every paid plan has the same limit. Before choosing a plan, check the current account details for:

Troubleshooting a price monitor
- The monitor tracks the wrong text: edit the monitor and select the price value itself in the page preview, not a product title, shipping label, or surrounding section.
- You receive alerts for irrelevant changes: use a numeric threshold, when available, to notify only when the selected value crosses your target amount. Confirm the rule direction and amount before saving.
- The price alert seems late: check the monitor’s configured cadence and plan. Wachete’s stated check frequency varies between its free and paid descriptions, and the next check may occur after a sale changes.
- The alert price differs from checkout: compare the product-page value with the cart or checkout total; the tracked page value may not include shipping, taxes, or discounts.
- The history period is unclear: check the retention shown for your account. Wachete’s product-price and general pages state different maximum periods.

If you need a screenshot of a product page rather than ongoing price alerts, ScreenshotNeo can return a screenshot with one GET request. It is a screenshot API, not a price-monitoring substitute: it can capture a page, but it does not watch for later price changes or send threshold alerts.
For example, this cURL request saves a WebP screenshot of a product page. See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for request options.
