Unbroken Flameruff Spirits are not general crafting ingredients in Aniimo. They are Epic Evolution Materials consumed when a regular Flameruff evolves into Inferlupa. The listed requirement is six Unbroken Flameruff Spirits and one Night Stone, plus a level-20 regular Flameruff and completion of Journey: Warrior.
What Unbroken Flameruff Spirits are
Aniimo.guide classifies Unbroken Flameruff Spirit as an Epic item in the “Evolution & forms” category and identifies it specifically as an Evolution Material. That item data was extracted from client 1.0 game tables on September 17, 2026.
The in-game use description is: “A piece of the burning spirit of a Flameruff fighter that ignites relentless determination in Flameruffs.” This wording describes an evolution catalyst, not a material used in a general crafting station.
The item’s flavor text connects the material to the Flameruff line’s lore: “The fiercest Flameruffs battle in the Thousand-Fang Ridge, seeking to transcend their limits and claim the title of Scorchhowl.” Defeated Flameruffs are said to become Ridgeback Trees while their spirits remain behind. In practical terms, the Spirit is tied to the Flameruff evolution system.
Are Unbroken Flameruff Spirits used in crafting recipes?
No general crafting recipe is documented for them. Treat “crafting” in the broad sense of making or upgrading a creature, but do not look for a cooking, equipment, or workshop recipe. The documented use is the Inferlupa evolution branch.
When you open the evolution interface for an eligible Flameruff, the Spirit is checked as an evolution requirement. It is consumed by that branch together with a Night Stone. If you are searching a crafting menu and cannot find the item, that is expected behavior.

How to evolve a regular Flameruff into Inferlupa

Confirm the Flameruff’s form
Choose a regular or basic Flameruff. Daily Aniimo notes that other Flameruff forms can only become Scorchhowl, so an apparently complete set of materials will not unlock Inferlupa for those forms. Check the creature’s form information before spending any Spirits or a Night Stone.

Complete Journey: Warrior
The evolution is gated by the Journey: Warrior progression. If Inferlupa is missing from the evolution interface, inspect the Journey screen and finish this entry before farming additional materials. The material count does not bypass a quest gate.

Raise the target to level 20
Train the same regular Flameruff you intend to evolve until it reaches level 20. A lower-level Flameruff can hold Spirits in your inventory, but it is not an eligible target for this branch until the level requirement is met.

Obtain a Night Stone
Keep one Night Stone available for the evolution confirmation. The Night Stone is a separate requirement from the six Spirits, so collecting Spirits alone will leave the branch incomplete.

Farm the Spirit requirement
Defeat the documented elite Flameruff encounter until you have the complete Spirit requirement shown in the evolution panel. The current guide describes each victory as a chance to receive a Spirit, so plan for multiple attempts rather than one guaranteed reward.

Open the evolution interface
Select the level-20 regular Flameruff, choose the Inferlupa branch, and check that Journey: Warrior, the Night Stone, and all required Spirits are recognized. Confirm only after the interface shows the branch as available; this prevents spending materials on the wrong Flameruff form.

Where to find the elite Flameruff
Area-name differences
Three current references use slightly different names for the same farming route. Aniimo.guide calls the area Thousand-Fang Ridge. MOANIIMO calls it Beast Fang Ridge, and Daily Aniimo also uses Beast Fang Ridge. Because the labels are not identical across references, follow the name displayed by your current in-game map rather than assuming that one wording indicates a different item source.
Daily route described by Daily Aniimo
- Travel to Beast Fang Ridge during daytime.
- Locate Flameruff, The Mighty, east of Alpha Scorchhowl’s territory.
- Defeat the elite encounter and check the reward results for a possible Unbroken Flameruff Spirit.
- If another attempt is needed, return through the Outpost and repeat the route when the encounter is available.
The guide describes the Spirit as a chance drop. No drop percentage is established, so there is no reliable number of battles that guarantees all six materials.
Alternative listed by Aniimo.guide
Aniimo.guide also lists releasing an Inferlupa as a source of the item. This route is conditional: you must already have an Inferlupa to release, and releasing it removes that creature. For a player currently trying to evolve a Flameruff into Inferlupa, the elite encounter is the practical primary route.
Why Inferlupa may not be available
The target is not a regular Flameruff
This is the most important form check. Daily Aniimo states that other Flameruff forms can only become Scorchhowl. If the creature is regional, advanced, or otherwise not the regular form, the Inferlupa branch will not appear even when your inventory is full.

Journey: Warrior is unfinished
The quest gate is independent of the item cost. Complete Journey: Warrior, then reopen the evolution interface. Farming more Spirits before clearing this gate will not unlock the branch.
The Flameruff is below level 20
Verify the level of the specific Flameruff selected for evolution, not another Flameruff in your collection. The documented gate applies to the target creature.
A Night Stone is missing
Six Spirits do not complete the requirement by themselves. The branch also lists one Night Stone, so check that item before returning to the encounter.

Because the Spirit is categorized as an Evolution Material, it may not appear in ordinary crafting screens. Select the creature and open its evolution options instead.

You are farming at the wrong time or location
Daily Aniimo’s current route specifies daytime and places Flameruff, The Mighty, east of Alpha Scorchhowl’s territory in Beast Fang Ridge. If the encounter is absent, compare the live map label, time of day, and landmark position before assuming the item has been removed.
You expected every victory to drop a Spirit
The current guide describes the reward as chance-based. A successful fight without a Spirit is not necessarily a bug; repeat the encounter and use the Outpost return route for another attempt.

- Prepare the target first: choose the regular Flameruff you will evolve and work toward level 20 before spending time on the elite farm.
- Clear the quest gate early: complete Journey: Warrior so the evolution interface can recognize the target when the materials arrive.
- Secure the Night Stone separately: do not treat the Spirit farm as the entire preparation phase.
- Track Spirits in your inventory: because drops are chance-based, record your current total after each encounter rather than assuming a failed drop means the route is unavailable.
- Use the map’s current terminology: search for Beast Fang Ridge or Thousand-Fang Ridge according to the label shown in your game version.
- Return through the Outpost: Daily Aniimo identifies the Outpost as the return point for another attempt, making it the natural reset point for repeated farming.
Inferlupa and Scorchhowl: what the documented requirements show
The available references establish the Inferlupa branch’s material and progression gates, but they do not provide a complete current stat, ability, or combat-role comparison. The useful distinction is eligibility:

Do not choose between the forms based on assumed stats from the Spirit’s flavor text. The documented information supports the evolution path and its gates, not a full battle-performance ranking.
What is and is not confirmed about the item
Confirmed uses are limited to the Inferlupa evolution branch. The documented sources do not establish a general crafting recipe, a fixed drop rate, a guaranteed number of encounters, or a full comparison of Inferlupa and Scorchhowl’s combat performance. Treat any interface wording in your current client as authoritative if it differs from older labels, especially for the ridge name or encounter placement.
