Choose Visible part of page for the current viewport or Entire page for a full-page image. Nimbus’s documented capture modes control what gets included; the reviewed documentation does not establish a general setting that turns any website dark.
Set the page to dark mode before capturing

Open the site or web app you want to capture. If it has a theme switch or appearance setting, select dark mode there.

Wait for the page to update, then check that the content—not just the browser chrome—has actually rendered in dark colors. Some sections may load or change after the initial view.

Open Nimbus Screenshot from the browser toolbar, the context menu, or a keyboard shortcut you have assigned.

Choose the capture scope that fits the image you need, then review the result in the editor and save or share it using the available actions.
Nimbus’s capture guide documents these capture modes and the editing and saving workflow. Setting the site’s appearance first is the practical approach because the capture records the page as rendered; the mode you choose determines the area included, not the page’s color scheme.

Choose the right Nimbus capture mode

These names and the detected scrolling-area behavior are documented in Nimbus’s capture guide. If your installed extension displays different labels, check its current menu; the help pages reviewed for this guide may not reflect every later interface change.
Does Nimbus Screenshot force a website into dark mode?
The reviewed Nimbus Screenshot settings guide covers options such as image format, filename, hiding fixed elements, and quick screenshot controls, but does not document a universal switch for applying dark colors to arbitrary websites. That does not establish that no newer or undocumented control exists; it means the reviewed documentation does not confirm one. See the Nimbus Screenshot settings guide for the documented settings.

When the capture is not dark or complete

The image is light: Reopen the target site’s theme controls and verify the page itself is dark before capturing. A Nimbus capture mode selects scope; it does not, according to the reviewed guide, establish a general page-darkening feature.

Some page sections look different: Wait for the content to finish updating or loading, including sections that appear as you scroll, then capture again.

A long page is cut off: Use Entire page rather than Visible part of page.

An embedded panel is missing its lower content: If Nimbus detects the panel as an internally scrolling area, try Capture scroll fragment; otherwise, capture the area in sections or use the page’s own export options.

The menu differs from the guide: Nimbus’s help pages may not match a newer extension interface. Check the options available in your installed version and use the mode whose scope matches what you need.
