1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteIf your Samsung phone has a “mysterious vibration” or its screen turns on unexpectedly, Nice Catch can help you see which app or device activity was recorded around the event. It is a module in Samsung’s Good Lock app; it reports activity rather than preventing it or guaranteeing that every cause will appear.
What Nice Catch can show
Nice Catch is a Good Lock module for investigating unexplained actions on Samsung devices. Its Galaxy Store listing describes reports that can help identify which application starts vibrations, along with histories for ringer mode, call mode, toast messages, advertisement screens, sudden device wake-ups, setting changes, muted media volume, accessibility setting changes, blocked or muted notifications, and sounds.
Samsung’s support guidance describes it as a way to look into causes of unexplained actions such as vibrations or the screen turning on. The labels and categories available can differ between the store listing, support guidance, and the version installed on your phone.
Install Nice Catch and enable Vibration history
- Open Galaxy Store on your Samsung phone and install Good Lock, if it is available.
- Open Good Lock, find Nice Catch in the Life up area, and download the module.
- Open Nice Catch and turn on its main switch.
- Turn on the Vibration history switch. Samsung’s listing says this switch must be enabled before using the history.
- Return to the Nice Catch main screen and tap Vibration history to view applications recorded as causing vibrations.
Menu placement may change with Good Lock updates. A Samsung Community moderator response describes the Good Lock navigation and switch sequence, but your phone’s current labels and layout take precedence.

Match the history to the symptom
- Unexpected vibration: Check Vibration history for an application recorded as starting it.
- Screen waking without an obvious reason: Look for a device wake-up history, if that category appears in your version.
- A setting or notification state changed: Check the corresponding setting-change, blocked-notification, or muted-notification history if available.
- An unexpected sound or media issue: Review sound or muted-media-volume categories where your installation provides them.
These histories can narrow down what to investigate, but they do not establish that Nice Catch detects every event or identify every underlying cause. It is a reporting tool, not a way to stop an app or system behavior.
Availability and version differences
The Galaxy Store listing gives Android P (Android 9.0) or later as its target. That is not a guarantee that Good Lock, Nice Catch, or every report category will be available on every compatible Galaxy phone. Samsung notes that features and settings can vary by phone model and software version, and its regional Good Lock guidance also notes that module availability can depend on device and region.
